I think it depends on your own connection and not moddb. I've had this happen to me once, but it happened to pretty much every site I went to.
And some sites didn't work at all. Almost seems as if the website containing all the images and such was on the "disconnected" list causing the website to look like this :D.
Even youtube looked like this. Videos worked though.
ah,
could be that i stopped the loading of tha website, so it was a fail :D
