This doesnt even make it run faster, it runs worse than before. Maybe you should make the low settings run better not worse so those will low end computers can play it better. It probably runs better will higher end computers with high settings.
Alot of effort over the years was put into this and it has paid off, congrats and well done. Overall its a very fun and intresting experience so I recommend you to try it out.
One of the best space simulation games ever made, too bad there was not a sequel and the planned one got canned.
