I can honestly say this mod has vastly improved my gaming experience when playing aliens. So thankyou for all your hard work! You have honestly done really well and i'm sure others will agree.
Hey everybody.
After replacing the files and running the game countless times i have worked out how to fix the cutscene problem.
When you replace the files you will notice a file in the "Engine\Config" folder called "BaseEngine.ini"
The exact path is "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Aliens Colonial Marines\Engine\Config" or wherever your game is installed.
Open "BaseEngine.ini" with notepad.
Scroll all the way down to the bottom and find the lines:
[FullScreenMovie]
bForceNoMovies=TRUE
Change this to:
[FullScreenMovie]
bForceNoMovies=FALSE
Save the file; this should now enable cutscenes :)
Hope this helps, if you have any questions just ask.

Just installed the new version, vast improvement really impressed with the work and of course from SweetFX also.
However, i still seem to be getting the cutscene problem for some reason, i have used the DX10 with SweetFX option.
To save hassel of you uploading a new version, as i undestand it but be irritating, is there anyway i can re-enable cutscenes myself?
Thanks for all the work :)

Thanks for the fast reply.
Three of us have repleced the files as stated, but the cutscenes don't seem to load for any of us :/
We installed the V1 then the V1.5.
Now i'm not saying you have removed them btw, but for some reason they don't seem, to load after replacing the files.
Thanks again

Yes they are :)
No, it's a graphics mod it won't affect the people you are playing against :)
Is this for the DX10 version or DX11?
Just drag and drop the files into your colonial marines directory and replace them :)
