Dog-eared half-demon battle programmer.
Um.. the game description only tells about donations, nothing about what this game is all about... (
Some of the most awesome features of Xash3D engine: it does NOT require steam, constant broadband connection, anal protection of closed engine binaries, counter-strike (lol, jk)!
The alpha is ready. Everyone who wants to participate may contact me.
lol, sprites -_-
Daily update: if you are a good programmer, you can contribute to XHL/XDM by writing/completing player animation pick logic (server side, just PICK animations for several events under multiple circumstances).
I can't finish this task myself in near future because of really significant problems in real life. And I can't release XDM in its current state (with animation bug) to disappoint players.
- Somebody! Call a doc...programmer! \(ToT)/
Current problem, if anyone interested: there's no way to catch end of gaitsequence on the server. What should I do?!!?!
Half-Life 1 is a pile of...
Done. Now it's...
but first, "because we like it" :)
Despite major real-life problems, I somehow managed to solve most problems with XHL. The last remaining task is player animations code. It's really complicated. Really.
Meanwhile, please look at some new screenshots (^_^)/
Could've not posted that.
Collapsed with a cold. Abroad. Life sucks.
Sorry guys, I wish somebody worked with me.
Ok, I'm slowly recovering. Doing some coding and mapping meanwhile. 90% fixed.
But I think it needs some final touches.. Photo***p is killing me! (x_x)
Finally, global warming! :)
news, kind of:
currently, I'm sick, my brain is a mess, so I can't really code much. I try but I only make it worse. Sorry, release delay is somewhat increasing... :(
Hey bro, wazzup?
Cool! And fog doesn't fail on skybox!
Now I'm stuck with EOFFSET() bugs, and that's a real fundamental problem...
I'm uncertain, I've spent 11 hours yesterday debugging some backwards-incompatibilities with HL1110 and Xash, not counting planned Linux tests... 8(
Also, I've polished some maps.
QA revealed several minor issues too. Well, If I drop Xash-related work, I could probably make it in a week or two. Anyway, I'm so tired I can barely get to my job...
Also, I'm in need of someone who can write some VGUI color/font schemes and beta-testers with debugging skills.
// BUGBUG: I told you about this earlier: Moddb.com
Do u plan on adding keyboard shortcuts to the main menu? It would be really awesome!
Looks very promising!
Basic knowledge these days... Is quite more 'basic' than this )
Now, looking at statistics, I sadly remember that there were people who actually registered just to downrate this mod (I'm not the only one who suffered from downvote raids, btw).
Well, I'd say, if you're jealous, make something better.
Do you accept cakes? ^_^
May I ask you why did you dislike my mod so much (http://www.moddb.com/mods/xdm)?
I'm in the process of improving it, and I'd like to hear more feedback.
Well, this group's name is kinda ambiguous...
