I still remember downloading the Prologue and being amazed at the amount of effort and detail that were put into it . . . hard to believe that was almost two years ago.
It's amazing how far this mod has come since then.
Terrific work Mxthe, Tom Stoffel, and Underhell team, I can only look forwards to the release of Chapter 1 with anxious anticipation.

Did you get permission for this? I only ask because if you read the license on the original release, it says you can't use it without permission: Gamebanana.com , and the author has already denied some people permission to use the gun. I don't think the people who made that model, textures, animations, etc, would appreciate it if you just stole their hard work without asking permission.

Don't just get rid of the cut stuff, put it up somewhere where other Source modders can use it, or save it for later, or something! Don't just throw all that hard work into the Pit of Doom!

But, I see a little part of his head sticking out above the shield, and all I can think is, *whips out .45 pistol*

Will reduce effectiveness of spray-and-pray weapons though, I guess.

It uses some textures/models from HL2, so yes you need it, but you may be able to get away with the demo (though why someone wouldn't buy HL2 idk)

Maybe not the best place to put this, but I couldn't help wondering when you were going to fix this Cloud.steampowered.com godspot on nms_isolated, Gruber stayed there for at least 10 waves (I joined late) and only took damage a few times from the odd climber, even though there were literally hundreds of zombies around him, which he killed one by one. I would have taken a better screenshot, but 200+ zombies tends to crash the server. Maybe add more of whatever lets the zombies climb, so one person in the truck can't slowly kill most of the zombies in the area?
Also, a rare bug that really annoys me personally, is when you open the supply crate to take stuff, and then try to exit by hitting close only to find nothing happens. Hitting close repeatedly does nothing, regardless of whether or not you've taken something, and I was just wondering if you'd been looking in to this, as it's gotten me (and I'm fairly sure other people) killed while trying to quickly grab supplies after dodging past zombies.

Somehow, I can't help but think that under the balaclavas, they all secretly look Asian. Maybe it's the mouths or, maybe it's just me.

Talk about a shift in atmosphere...

Oooookay, no offense, but that's kinda like carpet bombing a neighborhood just because one guy in one house is a criminal.
Just go to your Steam folder, then to the config folder, then delete ONLY the "config" file in the config folder, and if that doesn't work, then delete (or rename) the entire config folder, but theres no need to empty out your entire Steam folder.
Please note, the steam guard email verification thingy will still be activated.
