Awesome. Thanks! PM sent.
Hi! Thanks for your support! Well, there are some really great forums and a wiki site on creating missions using the FreeSpace Open mission building software (nicknamed FRED 2). I take it you have the mod working? If so I would be very happy to send you a detailed PM with how to get started with mission making. Thanks again!
Probably once we get more missions done and the B-wing implemented...So at least a few more weeks unfortunately.
Thanks for the comments! I agree the community that maintains and updates the FS Open does a better job than a lot of professional companies. And multiplayer missions are also being created for the next release.
They are to a degree, at the moment we are focusing on making campaign missions.
The campaign only has one official mission so far, so you need to go to the mission simulator in the Tech Room to play it.
Indeed! Right now there is only Track IR support...
If you recognize that I think you will like our new Rebel targeting reticule.
Great work on both the Expanding Fronts and Battlecry projects!
We sure hope so!
Looks absolutely fantastic! Very professional looking models, ideas, and the works. Keep up the excellent work!
Ideally it will be in the next release!
Thanks! The ones we plan on utilizing the most for the upcoming releases are the TIE pilots, officers, and stormtroopers.
Thanks for the support! We actually are planning on revamping most of the HUD for both the Imperials and Rebels.
Intensify forward fire power!
Yep, sure can.
Quite possibly. The main reason it stays as a FS2 Mod is so we can continue to utilize the newest features that the FSO Team develops. Also, at this point we don't have enough missions to make it feel like a standalone version, thus the current priority is focusing on the campaign.
Hmmm, what builds are you using?
Hmm, I think I may have fixed it for Version 3. If not please let me know! Thanks for the info.
Thanks for answering this one pomate. I am going to release Version 3 on Saturday, so stay tuned!
Thank you! Your work is awesome and it is clear you are very talented, and all of us on the team certainly appreciate it!
Yeah probably. Version 3 (which will be out shortly) uses 2014, but I think version 2 uses 2012. Sorry about the confusion.
Are the Media VPs 2012 still in your FS2 folder? The upcoming version 3 uses the 2014, but I think the older version might be using the 2012 VPs...
Are you trying to run the missions from the Tech Room Mission Simulator? The campaign will not work, nor will three missions in the Tech Room (since they are a side effect of using the Media VPs).
Do you mean you can't find them in the FSO launcher?
There are weapons on all the flyable ships. Could you be more specific?
Well I would say there will be somewhere between 10 and 20. But we will ideally plan on releasing more as additive content for later releases. The plan though is to make an Imperial and Rebel option to most (but not all) missions. Thus you can play as either one in order to further increase re-playability. With the actual movie battles there are only 2-3 direct cuts from the movie (Battle of Yavin, Hoth, and Endor). But missions that are directly tied to or in conjunction with movie events (like the first mission) would ideally be at least half of the missions. Another example would be covering the escape from Yavin or Imperials searching out and fighting various pirates and smaller rebel bases as Lord Vader searches for the main Rebel Base prior to Episode V.
I noticed that. I think it has to do with some script errors, so I removed those scripts. In the new version it should be fixed now : ) And thanks! The credits for the excellent explosions goes to the Media VP 2014!
