Quite possibly. The main reason it stays as a FS2 Mod is so we can continue to utilize the newest features that the FSO Team develops. Also, at this point we don't have enough missions to make it feel like a standalone version, thus the current priority is focusing on the campaign.

Yeah probably. Version 3 (which will be out shortly) uses 2014, but I think version 2 uses 2012. Sorry about the confusion.
Are the Media VPs 2012 still in your FS2 folder? The upcoming version 3 uses the 2014, but I think the older version might be using the 2012 VPs...
Are you trying to run the missions from the Tech Room Mission Simulator? The campaign will not work, nor will three missions in the Tech Room (since they are a side effect of using the Media VPs).
Do you mean you can't find them in the FSO launcher?

Well I would say there will be somewhere between 10 and 20. But we will ideally plan on releasing more as additive content for later releases. The plan though is to make an Imperial and Rebel option to most (but not all) missions. Thus you can play as either one in order to further increase re-playability. With the actual movie battles there are only 2-3 direct cuts from the movie (Battle of Yavin, Hoth, and Endor). But missions that are directly tied to or in conjunction with movie events (like the first mission) would ideally be at least half of the missions. Another example would be covering the escape from Yavin or Imperials searching out and fighting various pirates and smaller rebel bases as Lord Vader searches for the main Rebel Base prior to Episode V.
I noticed that. I think it has to do with some script errors, so I removed those scripts. In the new version it should be fixed now : ) And thanks! The credits for the excellent explosions goes to the Media VP 2014!
Multiplayer, while ideally should work, is not working since there are not enough people with the mod. Ideally with subsequent releases we can start to plan multiplayer events :)
Thanks for all the time you put in with the explanations! And thank you for your support of the mod. You are indeed correct, the ERANGE message is fixed in Version 3, along with some other bugs. And out of curiosity, why will matching a TIE speed change you life? :)
It should be. It still won't be the final but it will at least be playable.
Actually we just finished adding something really nice. So it will certainly be within a week to 10 days.
I am thinking that there will be now speech for the Tech Room since that gets annoying after a while of selecting each ship over and over again. In some missions there will be some descriptions though. There is a lot more cool feature coming in the Version 3 release as compared to speech though *hint hint* Thanks again for the support as well!!

Thanks! The models and effects are not mine, I just complied them and tied it together! Warfull did the amazing models and DaBrain and the HLP MediaVPs did the rest! Anyway, hmmmm. That error is now fixed (the ERANGE) and version 3 will be out sooon. And that could be that taking that file out makes the textures weird, that is why you need all of the Media VPs to play the mod. And, in regards to importing missions, unfortunately that is impossible :( Thanks again for the feedback though, we very much appreciate it!
Well I want to give the other team members a little more time to add in the new awesome interface and voice acting. But I think this should all be together in a few weeks.

I agree, there needs to be some large geoemetric revisions to the battleset. For example, the Imperial Fleet is not between the Rebels and DS, but rather behind the Rebel Fleet. More then anything this is a place holder :)

Unfortunately I am not very knowledgeable about error messages, but I would suggests posting the error in the forum of the link I gave you or in the modding section of the forum.

Hmmm, did it say ERANGE? If you click OK it will still run the game. But I think I isolated what was causing it and will fix it soon.

Thanks! And yes, almost all the ship models and respective turrets are in place, the only thing left like I mentioned is the tweaking of table files and some mission creation.
