When i first clicked on the link to this mod. I blindly watched the youtube videos and there i felt a certain anxiety and chill that quickly shot down my spine. As a matter of fact i can still feel that chill. After watching the vids i read about your research and how the feeling of anxiety differs from a screamer to a complete mind f***. This is actually really smart. Most "horror" video games tend to be not scary at all because all it does is shove either story and what they want down your throat without feeling a certain stress or anxiety. Just a pop scare here and there. The only stress in these is the stress of something actually popping out in front of you, and when it does happen all of a sudden that stress and anxiety goes away after it peaks, because it happened. Very few games actually make you feel that anxiety (Slender, Amnesia) of being threatened. Good Luck on the mod, if you ever finish it i know it'll be a truly frightening thrill ride people will talk about (Something that can rival cry of fear)

good lord so many good mods recently and are soon coming out; water, zeitgeist, g string,lost squad, this mod, and many more! It's amazing how the source engine is so open for the community! We always have so many source mods to play while waiting for valve to finish their work! Mods keep the game alive!!!(^_^)

For Face API, Are you going to use Torbensko's source code? Will faceAPI gameplay be similar to the leaning in Torbensko's paintball mod?

First of all making a dead space mod will just be unoriginal and second of all it would be considered stealing other people's work/idea. You have two options, get a better gfx card or... buy the console version (highly recommended if you have a crappy computer).

I'm so happy that this mod is not only alive but living. This is probably one of the most active mods and one of the most anticipated mods for hl1 or any engine, as a matter of fact. ruMpel, I am excited and everyone of your fans are too. We all love you and your work and we all hope to see that this mod will be an extremely Epic, suspenseful, and thrilling mod when it is released.

oooo i sorta know what they're planning, i maybe wrong, but at the same time at least 45 % correct... The release dates are gonna be in one of the three months... (1) October(the beginning of true fall and the Haunting theme of Halloween.)(2)November: the ending month of fall where darkness covers the chilly atmosphere, (which probably occurs in the first half of the mod) or (3) December 2011 at the latest (Darkness has fallen over and the white chilling snow symbolizing as death... (which is probably one of the atmosphere in the last half)) also they are probably releasing after Battlefield 3, hearing that some of the modders actually got a position in EA / DICE and are busy helping polishing Battlefield 3

I'm straight and I thought this mod was pretty good, and it has a very present day moral that is very common in today's society. It's made for everyone, straight and gay. All it does is that it shows the life of a gay man through his eyes. I guess this mod was created to show that even gay people are human beings and also share the same problems and relationship issues with spouses that we heterosexuals have every single day.
