Perhaps it was in the demo version they acted like this? Or perhaps there was a legit circumstance I didn't see at a glance, but I vividly remember one of my people was using a two-star crowbar to search when I had at least one flashlight unused in the general pool. I'll keep an eye out and pop a message on the forum if I'm able to reproduce.

Great game, by the way. Very compelling.

These are all great suggestions. I would also suggest the ability to force-equip gear to survivors, even if only for the working-style jobs (barricading, engineering, searching.) A few times I had people equipping two-star items when a five-star was available.

Natural Selection 2 and Nuclear Dawn are pretty good recent FPS/RTS games.

You can also play it free on the developer's home page, linked directly here. What's your point?

You can be cheap, or you can support the developer, get a proper game instead of a bloated flash one, more features, updates, etc.

Maybe next time you take it upon yourself to "inform the masses" you should take three seconds to look through all the other moderated posts like yours.

Good stuff! I'm definitely loving this game. It has a certain charm to it, and is a good game to fill the Dungeon Keeper hole in my soul ;)

Any idea when we can see some AI improvement? Was just curious how high a priority that is. ie: Soldiers running away at low health to heal, citizens avoiding combat, citizens not running 5 miles through a dungeon to pick up a piece of Spiderite when there was a perfectly good piece right next to the ladder, etc.

It would also be nice to set up some "Danger flags" or similar concept, where we can flag an area as off-limits to help with clearing a dungeon efficiently.

I'll be patient as always. I want to show this game to my wife (who lives Minecraft) when it reaches a more polished point. She's not as patient with alpha games as I am, so I don't want to spoil her initial impression of this superb game ;)
