Working on it! Don't expect it for this version though :)
Once you've learned some manners, maybe we will ;)
Yep, we've got agreements with a number of server hosts to provide us with many a server come release!
Indeed. I have very fond memories of both Tribes and Terranova, purely because of the jetpacks :D
Yes. Jetpacks. This mod now wins. Totally playing this now!
Yay! It's Working now! The file length was too short when I first uploaded it! Sorry to the people who posted, but I had to delete the file, which meant losing your comments too!
Thanks buddy! We've been working hard at making each of them very unique in both design and the way they're used for this version. No two weapons play the same.
Because the last release came out in 1923. The new release, coming very soon, should change things!
Be patient! The wheels have begun to turn...
I certainly am!
I'm always serious! It's also going to form the third part of a five map campaign, which I'm a good 60% of the way through :D
It's a VPK file, inside a ZIP file. I zipped it up to reduce the download size by over two thirds :D
Nope, no changes to weapons or sounds etc. Just a straight forward Survival map to begin with, and then a few months down the line, the full five map campaign!
Yep! It's a straightforward Survival map, which is also going to form the mid-point finale of a five map campaign. I've currently completed three of the five maps, and am working on the last two! I've been trying to stick to the style and appearance of the standard L4D maps, to ensure consistency, whilst really focusing on the gameplay and not letting players get lost.
Yes, true. But it's not necessarily free to redistribute packaged as a campaign for another game. The people playing your campaign, may not OWN Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. I know Valve have blurry lines on these things, but the mapping community tends to see it a very different way. Correct me if I'm wrong... but be wary is all I'm saying.
Sorry to throw a downer here, but the video preview shows... well... a decompiled version of DM_Lockdown from HL2DM. Is that intentional? I'm staying neutral here and not judging, as it doesn't appear that the rest of your map pictures are decompiles...
Haha! A wise man you are ;)
I'd also like to clarify to everyone, that this interview was conducted several months ago now, and we are now waaaay more than 1/3rd of the way through development of the mod. I'd say we're now more than 9/10ths of the way through. Big thanks to Noesis Interactive for doing this with us, was great fun!
We like colour :D
Oh good lord, I've been a member for over seven years now. I feel very old.
Hey everyone, you can now follow us on Twitter if you follow the following link. Wow, a lot of Follows there.
Can't wait!! Is gonna be awesome :D
Haha! Poor Nauz!
That's an engine crash, nothing to do with FoF.
Aye, it really does! You guys totally deserve it. Downloading now :D
Yay! Another rage quitter gone!
Oh dear lord. No, most games do NOT release with the tools for modding, most don't even HAVE tools for modding, and generally they get released after the game comes out. Valve are one of the few developers that actively supports and encourages modding and provides easy to use tools for the fans to use.
But YOUR fake account is OK? It's OK for YOU to do it? But noone else? Oh dear, this has gone beyond laughable now!
Well that says everything about the conviction of this group...
