Okay, just uninstalled and reinstalled, and sadly, the problem is still occurring.

Any ideas on how to rededy the situation?

I've got some bad news, though I'm not sure if it's happening to a lot of people.
Every time that I try to launch Vox now (after the 0.19 patch took effect), the game loads up as just a blue screen (though the version number in the bottom left is still visible as it normally is), and after a few seconds, the came unexpectedly crashes.
I'm going to try uninstalling it and reinstalling it, and I'll return with those results.
