I was busy with Airplanes, even got it working. Can publish it, but I think I want to do more stuff before I release 4.2

Then I will be working on porting them to other titles as they still are on 3.x.x

4.0 has autoassign, which I got as a tip from someone. Its so epic, I dont need to set player anymore for spawning. Only thing I have to set to a player are the cheats themself

Nice! Yeah, you should probably add more stuff. Hopefully it won't take too long.

About the airplanes, taking off might be a problem, as there's not much room for that in most of the missions. Except if you can spawn them in mid air, of course.

Well already got that fixed. Airplanes spawn in mid air.
Only you need to do, is tell them to go somewhere, and they will fly!

You're right. I just haven't had much time developing it. I did make some big changes to the framework itself. As I can now easily add some more things.

The checklist what I sorta have to do for this:
#Artillery button:
- Photoshop 3 pictures (normal, hover and active/pressed)
- Script that when you click the button, that it opens another script, depending on what country - that shows spawnables

#Sorting out artillery for each country etc..

I also want to make a website, where you can customize your cheats mod. Kinda like the way DCG does.

Version 4 is just going to be a little improved.

What is new?
- Switch country for cheats (spawn everything cheats mod has)
- Optimized code, easier for editing.
- Some new buttons.
- 3rd category containing artillery and such.
- BETA: Ability to change the cheats in the editor (with the cheats map I created for this)
- And some more small things you will not notice :-)

Well the plan is, that I set up every tank that can be found ingame. Then if you for example choose a vehicle, it will add simple lines of code that the game can read.

Ofcourse this is very hard. It might be easier to just make a program haha :P
I have learnt some php but I think I need some more skills to do this kinda stuff

I am curious as to how the mod works. The one thing I really liked about Company of Heroes' cheat mod was that it works on all maps and mods.

What about Men of War conflicts with an ability to allow virtually universal usage of the cheat mod?

Sadly, no. The cheats mod I've made is just a mission script.
Therefore, you need to attach it to every mission in order to have it activated.

I've tried the CoH cheats mod, and I have to say that it is good.
The CoH cheats mod is a script that is kinda like a mod like a character replacement. It loads in every mission, no matter what.

But to activate the cheats on a mission on Men of War is not really that hard. You only have to delete 2 lines, and add a simple line to include cheats. I will hope to make a tutorial soon, a web based one.

Well if it isnt too hard, can you give me the gist of what to do? If I am successful then I could try and write the process out so you don't have to, since everyone knows a picture or video is worth 1k+ words!

I think it won't be too hard, maybe it will be kinda similar to how to get the CoH cheat mod working.

Only thing you need to do (especially CM4.1) is to add a include in a current mission.

at almost at the end of the line (before the last } )
you just add a line:
(include "/map/single/cheatsmod/ger.mi")
options are: ger/jap/rus/uk/usa.mi

Working is like this:
Mission -> german country set -> load cheatsmod
real simple.

so again, just add the include line to a mission!

I just cannot find the files that I need to 'include' when searching through the MoW version, guess I will just wait until you one day update the older versions =P.

(Unless CM 4.1 somehow works with MoW haha)

PS There are some weird bugs like the squad from the transport vehicles not showing up on the unit sidebar or the tankers from spawned vehicles doing the same thing.

MoW version:
0.mi (holds what to include)
mission.mi (this explains itself does it)

in 0.mi we have
(include "mission.mi")
(include "../side.mi")
(include "/map/cheats/cheat_pl1.mi")

What it basicaly says:
+ Load mission
+ Load side (for country spawning)
+ Load cheats (its best to load side.mi first)

What you can do with missions that havent cheats mod yet:
1: Edit the 0.mi (most of the times the mission)
2: go to the end of the line. Example:
{Name "hill_new2"}
{Id 62}
{Actors 328}
{Commander 328}

Now before the last } bracket we put 2 includes
{Name "hill_new2"}
{Id 62}
{Actors 328}
{Commander 328}
(include "../side.mi")
(include "/map/cheats/cheat_pl1.mi")

You should also copy the side.mi and put it one layer above the mission.

You also have to figure out yourself what player you are in the mission you want to have cheats.
If you dont set the right player, the cheats mod will give functions to other players or enemy's. And thats something you dont want to happen :)

well I dont really know how CoH does that. I do know it just hooks like texture mods for mow (works for every mission)
