Greetings fellow modders! As I have come to realise that most people that track mods like to know a bit of knowledge about the creator that is working on their eye candy, I thought I would put a little update on here about myself for people to read about. Yes these two points will be amongst my things to do. I have already expanded it to level 2 which you saw where the shotgun is picked up, then it will do further up into another stage once the player receives a certain amount of kills. :)

It's great to see some weapon modifications and original level design, don't see many desert like maps around. What i would recommend for the textures is to have some of them look as if they have been there for a long time with faded marks on them and perhaps black craters around as well as some other textures that will mix with the bright sand.

The obstacle course randomizes on map start, i don't think there will be any way to make sure that when you reload the map it won't be the same as the last time you played it as that's a bit out of my league atm.

In this map when you fall to the ground it does is teleport you to the beginning so it's not reloading the map in any way as you could tell the broken slabs are still there and the first obstacle hasn't randomized.

Sure can, but the car wouldn't exacly be possible, the animation and model sequences don't match up so you'd technically need to remake the zombie torso, but you won't have to do any source coding to get it in.

What Alex is trying to say is the Rocket Launcher is a reasonable weapon but adding a katana means all you're doing is just adding more of everyone's favorite weapons.
Why not add in a weapon that no one has thought of before like a skrew driver or something?

It's more more along the liens of making all the body parts separate then attach them very much like the headcrab onto the zombie model then remove it then create a ragdoll prop with the model of the limb. But there's still the fact of doing the animation and such so the news post explains it in the hard way yet still stating it isn't as easy as 1 2 3.

The weapon is a modified from different weapons where the the bayonet is an addition from the m4a1 which just gave me an awesome idea of duel bayonets.

If this is used too often it can easily chew lots of resources, but atm it will only be used in certain places and with restrictions to avoid being over used.

All of the strong details like pipes, broken floors, tables, tiles, boxes and so on, are all models made to look like brushes.

If you look at the model example you will see the resemblance of how similar to brushes they look if your a common brush worker.
