Very interesting and funny RPG, I'd love to see some more episodes added to it though, it's a tad short.
This is my Christmas, me getting an Xbox 1 Playstation 4 a NDS 3D, me beating the crap out of Final Fantasy 6, and getting a date with a super model all rolled into one.
I don't care if it isn't even perfect, games like these with a history behind them just damn demand a 10. Call me a fan boy if it makes you feel better, I don't care. If you spent as much time as I have with Dom II and Dom III you'd know that I will always have a huge love affair with this series, heck... it's even stronger than my love for old school WRPG's, that's saying quite a bit.
Some games, just stand the test of time better than you'd think, and if anyone who hasn't played this game, or just won't because of the graphics than you just don't know what the hell your missing. It's a rare gaming experiance that I'm quite fond of, and it's a damn shame there arn't more games like Dominions.
Hookay, after finally being able to play this game, I'm fixing my review. It's fun, provided you can navigate through the pain in the bum of the screen resolution size. Overall, it was worth it if you like 4x strategy, which this is.
Mostly because, games like these are freeware, and should stay as such. RM2K3 in particular.
One of the older PC games to date, but trust me when I say, it's worth the price tag. You will enjoy this gem for years to come.
This game reminds me of Panzer General, but on a larger world wide scale. You build your forces up, research, and away you go to global dominiation in a World War II style.
The best thing I like about this game, is unlike other WWII style games, this one is probably the most accurate with events and dates. Even smaller events were added with great detail. For example, when Russia attacked Finland, the dates were exact, from date of war declaired to date of peace. (At least for me anyway.) It also give's you opitions to avoid war altogether.
Some improvements need to be made however... I couldn't get the tutorial to work, which can be a pain since I'm still figuring a few things out. The Music, I think was the most annoying, it should be switched to some classical. Throw some Motzart, or Behtoven in there, anything but what they have. Finally, the price is also a big complaint, it's a bit pricey, but if you love Panzer General, and wanted that game to be a Global version, this game may be worth the price tag.
