While primarily a console gamer (yeah I said it), I have been modding pretty much since I first started PC gaming. I had been hop-scotching between projects on Pirates of the Caribbean, Call of Duty 2, Civilization IV to build up my graphical skills and understanding of games. For the last two years, I have remained focused on Company of Heroes, and currently active as a 2D graphic designer for Company of Heroes: Eastern Front. In real life, I work freelance as a graphic artist, specialising in DTP for small shops and companies, while trying to juggle university, exams, social life and a girlfriend in an attempt to have some sort of life.

We're sorry, but no blog posts were found here. Boring yes, but as confucius always said - if you have nothing good to say, why say anything at all? Check back later, perhaps something exciting will pop-up and be worth blogging about, like season 3 of the teletubbies.
Speak your mind, rant about games, mods and the development scene, it's simple and who knows maybe someone will read it and agree. It will feel right!

you did good job on this mod but, if its possible can you guys get the real damage no offence?
I have a question, when you'll be able to use the award units in EF?
Not entirely sure I understand your question. The latest Eastern Front patch includes additional Reward Units, but if you want to play the Official Relic Reward Units, you will have to purchase Tales of Valour.
I should just say that, you all have done a good job!
EF is a success indeed!
WartyX your awards don't mean much, look at Modern Warfare 2, Empire Total War, both games that is highly acclaimed by critics, but when it comes down to looking at it in depth, it's all hype and no product. Alot more ppl would agree with me ;-) just saying.
Perhaps, but I think you used some very bad examples. People are always more vocal when they find something to complain about than when they like something, especially when it comes to video games, and it is very easy to join the 'hate wagon' when something isn't quite what you expect. Therefore, a lot more people enjoy MW2 and ETW than you seem to think.
It is easy to see that you haven't got much personal experience in creating and releasing mods to the public. Regardless, my opinion is that it is unfair to call any free software a 'flop' (especially when it has so many downloads and such a high rating, not to mention being the very first of its kind). Due to the nature of the modding hobby, standards are not as high as commercial games. Additionally, I would challenge you to find any Company of Heroes mod which has more daily players than Eastern Front.
However, I am not saying that EF is without mistakes, and I have every confidence that our team and future Company of Heroes mods including Modern Combat learn from the milestone Eastern Front release.
Just saying.
Yes, well you have a good case to argue but, the problem nowadays with these games is that they build too much hype through advertisements and set the bar far higher than what the actual product is. e.g Let's take a look at Modern Warfare 1 personally this is one of the best FPS games of all time. Then Modern Warfare 2 came out attempting to "repeat" or "improve" what they have done, this is impossible and is destined to be a fail as there is hardly anything critical about MW1 which is nearly perfect. They raised the expectation of their target audience too high into a level which they exaggerated what the value of their product truely was. Essentially they "over-killed" Modern Warfare 2.
The point is, that EF mod has set their own standards far too high. EF mod is only a mod but, was supposed to be an "expansion pack" for COH which added new units and elements into the game. This mod didn't quite live up to the expectations that was set-up by your own team. A mod is a mod, an expansion is an expansion and a game is a game.
Although I disliked the Soviet Union, I'm still looking forward to trying out the Ostheer, just don't make the same mistakes that you did with the Russians!!!
Says the guy with the nickname "PeepingTom"........
Empire total war and Modern warfare 2 = Pure win, that and EF :D
