Could this method work with Brothers in Arms Hells Highway?
Could this method work with Brothers in Arms Hells Highway?
I know how to do this but I have found that the original sounds remain even if you delete the entire Audio folder. I am unsure where the sounds are stored. I even cooked a new package with the biahh SDK so it was compatible.
I have found a way to cook new upk's but I have discovered something unusual.
I replaced the W_MG42A.upk with my new one but the original sound remained. Upon further testing, I found out that if you delete the entire "Audio" folder inside \steamapps\common\Brothers in Arms Hells Highway\SumacGame\CookedPC\Packages\Audio and then relaunched the game all the sounds were still present.
This means that the sounds must be stored somewhere else. Is this something you have come across? do you have any idea where the sounds could be stored if the "Audio" is not even relevant?
I have used a UEViewer to export the audio files with the correct file paths for the guns I wish to edit, do you know of any way I can reimport the sounds or build a new .upk file?
I have UE3 installed so in theory this should allow me to build a new .upk file.
I have spent the best part of a week trying to do this so If you know of a way please share it.
Thanks in advance.
Are you still working on this mod? more missions maybe?
Are you still working on this?
I did make skin packs for them games years agobut they are now lost to internet history
Is this not what became Terminator Resistance?
I wish to start making maps and SP missions, do you have any advice?
Who has ever come across this? Ugx-mods.com
These are really old skins, though I did start off my skinning days with COD 2003 I didn't really improve until Black Ops was released.
if you are still interested I have just found it and uploaded it. it is waiting for approval!
Here is a link to my Nexus Mods page: Nexusmods.com
This could be due to the .dds texture files being converted to the wrong format of .iwi for instance COD2 .iwi
I've uploaded the picture of the skins to my profile, that way they are easy to access for people to download and work with if they wish to add bits or improve upon them. I am not touchy about people using my stuff as its all for the greater good of modding!
The undershirt is good, they had a habit of wearing a polka-dot scarf.
Nice work, I hate the goatee beards the Germans have on these models, I may have to remove them unless someone else feels like doing so.
I like the way all the factions are depicted in WAW, it's gritty and it is something COD has lacked since Black Ops 1. That is just my opinion though.
Very nice work, I love WAW but I wish there was more modding being done for it eg custom SP maps. I have been after making a custom map for a Call of Duty game since 2003! now I have a bit more free time on my hands I am going to have a serious look into it.
The Battle of Königsberg is something I would love to make or the Courland Pocket?
Would you mind if I tweaked some of these skins? I feel like coming out of retirement to do something with them.

Is there a particular reason nobody makes custom SP maps for COD WAW? I have always found it strange that there have only been a couple made.
If you look at the early screenshots of COD World At War you can see that it did use the models from COD 3. I read that they changed the engine or something mid-development and that is why we got only one type of German for 90% of the Soviet campaign and that a lot of missions were cut like the Training mission and the Aircraft Carrier attack mission as well as the entire British campaign.
I would love to see some Custom SP maps for World At War and I am currently teaching myself how to do such things.
LOL
I find the lack of custom single-player maps concerning. Over the years I have played a few SP maps and remakes of COD 1 levels within WAW.
My question is this: Is making custom SP hard?
also are there any walkthroughs on how to make maps?
I understand code and have a degree in Cyber Security but I am not the best at coding! but I feel like a challenge and I wish to attempt to make an Historical Eastern Front Map, The Battle of Königsberg!
Any advice would be appreciated.
I made the Vehicle skins for MCh2207Cz, I thought I recognised them when I was playing it.
Over the years I've made lots and lots of skins for COD and other games. Many of them have been lost forever but now and again I come across some that have survived. The loss of codfiles.com was a big one. I should of uploaded them all on here.
If this takes another 10 years I will be in my 50s!
You will hate the abomination boss then, I beat it by the skin of my teeth!

World War 2 and history fanatic, I've posted lots of content on many sites over the years like GameFront/Fileplanet but like many of the other great mods by other talented modders they are all lost to history now. If anyone out there has saved any of my work over the year I would appreciate it if you let me know as my hard drive died that it was all stored on, Thanks.
