Sorry the mod is not released.
Sorry there is no way to know when it will be released. This is a hobby so we do it in our spare time.
This mod takes places in XIV-XVth century so Volga Bulgaria is long gone. But Bulgaria is a faction of the mod, one of the larger factions.
Hello everyone. Sorry for lack of updates. Its actually my fault as i have been very busy and will be so until december.
The mod itself is doing great! We have released a preview on total war centrw for the knights hospitaller and we have 3 other factions in full production with one almost finalised. I will post some updates here when i get a chance.
Well our team stopped playing total war games after medieval 2 due to the fact that they do not allow proper modding. Its likely that rome 2 will be the same. As such medieval 2 remains the best total war modding platform.in fact some teams are still releasing amazing mods on rome total war.
Sorry i don't use messenger but feel free to message me on moddb
Indeed the launch of RTW2 has nothing to do with our mod. There are plenty of mods in development and also being played for both RTW and MTW2. We are working on this mod because of our love for historical accuracy. As usual RTW2 will be both historically inaccurate and unmoddable because of the new engine.
Sorry mate it is impossible to give a release date. There is still quite a bit of work. We may try to release a battle map only mod this year.
No it is a modification of Medieval II total war. It is not released work is still in progress.
Modul nu este facut de romani, nici unul dintre modderi nu este roman. De asemenea modding-ul este un hobby adica modderi lucreaza la el dupa scoala, dupa servici, familie etc
No the mod is not finished. Still plenty of work to do
Well there was discussion about Poland. But our map is limited to the balkans, anatolia and italy. So only the most southern tip of Poland is actually present. But there will be scripted events to show simulate Polish invasions and raids with the rebel faction.
We have quite good historical information. However it is not likely we will use any modern pictures as more than likely many of these buildings have been added to and modified over time. It is not likely that the Krstjani had minarets.
Sorry mate but it is impossible to give a date simply because the pace of the work varies. Sometimes there is no work for months and sometimes we do heaps of work. We may have some sort of battle-map only version out by the end of the year
I am sorry but it is impossible to say when it will be released.. There is simply a lot of work to be done and it is only done as a hobby in spare time.
you can choose either one of them. There is a script which will allow you to restore the Empire and be crowned the rightful Emperor. Both Roman factions will have access to it and will include objectives such as taking certain settlements and defeating the other Roman faction.
Thanks a lot :)
We have already received permission to use the magyar units of the Magyar mod. So have no fear, all the units already released by that mod will be in Tsardoms aswell!
But since the units belong to the magyar mod team we can not preview them here.
Yes it is still a Wip, the Turk one is not finished yet.
We are hoping we can release a first version next year if all goes well. But there is quite a bit of stuff left to do until then.
Thanks guys. Yes, it's quite possible that it was one of the inspirations, although i believe we may have already had another source image with a similar photo.
Well our mod is focused only on the conflicts in Balkans, Italy and Asia Minor. We want to represent this area as accurately as possible. We have the maximum number of factions that the engine allows (31 factions). So it is impossible to expand the map and we also do not have the manpower unfortunately. Even as it is we had to make some judgement calls and exclude some factions which would have fit in our map such as Republic of Pisa, Milan, Golden Horde, Poland, Albanian Principalities etc.
Perhaps when the mod is released, interested modders can create submods for it which takes the focus to Anatolia, Palestine and North Africa. It would be very welcomed!
Thank you. But the team is multinational from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, France etc. We have only interest in historical accuracy and portraying every faction as correctly as possible. So every faction will receive the attention it deserves historically :)
yes, there is away however it is very very hard work and only about 3-4 people in the whole of the total war modding community know how to do it. so it is not likely that will happen. however, one of those modders did make the bulgarian capital turnovo and was kind enough to share it with our mod.
Thanks a lot for your help!
Yes Hungary will have brand new units and skins provided by another mod with which we collaborate.
Indeed, LordKronos and Kontakt_5 are correct. The knights changed their clothing in the XIIIth century to the red and white.
Kontakt_5 that sounds very interesting. We are definetly interested in seeing these photos. We have a fair bit of historical research done but more is welcome any time. Our main forum is at Total War Centre here Twcenter.net We would be really grateful if you posted the images there.
yes, but those krajisnici were much later and different equipped. those were border militia under austrian empire, which later become very skillful with fighting turks. it is made out of word "krajina" which means "land on the border".
these krajisnici in the game were one in service of kingdom of serbian and later tsardom, and has nothing to do with late austrian border militia. in medieval kingdom there were "krajiske vojvode" which were land lords of border lands, and they were nobility who had to defend borders of kingdom, so as "krajisnici" people who lived on those border. krajisnici is slavic word, and they were known in kingdom of serbia as that, before even establishing those in austria when serbs fled there.
You will like moldova too :P
