No, those models you linked have never been released by the Magyar Mod. We only use their hungarian infantry. We have our own ottoman units which can be seen in our preview. All models are finished.

Yes, there will be a bit of modernisation. We tried to stay as historically accurate as possible but put in a bit of what if scenario in too. We tried to look at how other byzantine influenced states such as russia developed the look of their armour and we applied it to the byzantines. So a lot of the upgrades of the byzantine units start incorporating more western elements. But we did not go too far and tried to keep it within historical limits. So we decided not to give them gunpowder units. But they will have western gunpowder mercenaries instead. For example, the upgrade of the Varangians have a mix of western/eastern equipment. Actually that is a correct coat of arms on the archer unit. The half-moon and the star is not only an ottoman symbol but it existed in the balkans before the ottoman arrival. The croats, serbs, wallachians, hungarians all used it. So that is not an ottoman flag. In fact the serbian faction was made by serbian modders and one of them was a serbian history teacher.
Yes unfortunately the crashes are a known issue. it is due to the faction officers. If you know how to do it you need to remove the ottoman officer and replace them with anotehr officer.
Sorry i have no idea how the mod interacts with steam. Maybe other gamers know better

Hi. We have a battle-only beta so give that one a try. It has only a few factions to give a taste of what is to come. there is an issue with ottomans and ragusans crashing but all others work perfect.
We are still working on the campaign side but we have finished pretty much all of the factions. Must are never before seen in a medieval 2 mod and even the western ones are completely brand new.
Do you have the mod installed in the mods folder? It must be in its own folder
I can see what the issue is. You have the mod just copied in the mods folder. The Tsardoms mod should be installed in its own Tsardoms folder within the Mods folder. That is why it cannot locate kingdoms.exe.
Hmm this is very weird never encountered this. Your specs are fine. Perhaps try and reinstall the mod. Also, don't run kingdoms.exe, to start the mod you need to start tsardoms.bat
So are you starting the game by clickinh on kingdoms.exe or tsardoms.bat?

As mentioned all faction slots are filled up as there are 3 shadow factions too. Also we have no manpower for another faction
