What do you mean? You can already give yourself a name in the client, and when you join a server other players will see that name.
For people with the "interface lost, game closed unexpectedly" problem:
There is no different between a vpn lan patry from tunngle or hamachi.

Oh yes, sound both fun to me. :-) VaultMP is going to support modding .esm, .esp and a scripting interface(pawn and c++).
If you can make a working nice concept how V.A.T.S. can work in multiplayer. We will maybe consider it. :-) :-P

The story lines are to short, it's really buggy (some of them are really easy the fix like with the ghouls at the end in the dream I died 4 times because the loading screen was to late! It felt really rush.) and all the silliness I found it really funny but it's not Fallout and not realistic it just does not make any sense a little bit is fun but this was just to much. to just say so some with the Role-playing things on the broken computers and all the internet quotes.

The source code from Skyrim online and the total project is garbage and a scam. He copied all the difficult / important stuff from script dragon.
I liked the old menu better it was more mystic. It looks like some really bad 3D render right now something from Warcraft 3.

Of course you can always be invincible with the TGM cheat, or by server sided server command script. But making yourself a kid does not make you invincible it's only a model change.
And no we do not care about that big no no kill kids thing this is a mod and the community can do with it what they want. If somebody want to makes a server where you can kill kids it's not the concern of VaultMP.

Therefore VaultMP exposes a rich scripting interface, with a C API at its core, as well as native support for C++11 and PAWN scripts. The goal is to provide the tools necessary to create engaging online environments in the Fallout games. It does not impose any limits on what you can do with it (i.e. maximum player count), neither does it has any bias towards any kind of multiplayer game.
