Description

M4 Beagle

When Soviet Union launched its attack on the Europe evoking the World War II, United States already had Colbert tank in its arsenal, but it was obvious it was a horrible mistake and Colbert wasnt able to compete with new German Mastiff. Americans realized they were not able to compete with Germans, thats why they created light tank called Beagle.

With the entrance of the United States to the war Beagles were assigned along their larger brothers Colberts, utilized mostly by American generals, and Mastiffs. The combination Mastiff-Beagle proved to be extraordinary, and Allied commanders learned to use Mastiffs as bait while Beagles outmaneuver Soviets and attack from behind.

However, after the war, Beagles, along with most of the Allied arsenal was absolute and 70% of Beagles were locked in the Boneyards in deserts of Nevada to be left their fate. However, Beagles remained in service of the third-world nations and saw action in Vietnam War.
