Hi, You can buy "Floppy Disk" in shop and your game progress will be saved. This save game feature will be available in full version. I still have to fine tune some things.

You mean spaceship level 5 with robots? Don't worry, this is only Alpha, Level 5 is under development, too boss in level 4 (in hell). In few days will be out new alpha (hope beta) version 1.8 with complete level 5. But If you are in level 5 in spaceship, you are GREAT! I think is very very hard reach level 5 in Obludia, because difficulty is not optimized yet. I hope you will enjoy the new version once it is out. There will be many changes, like new spell system based on mana, new powerups, and graphics. I think new version will be more more better than 1.7 and without bugs.

1. Enemies and some items are randomly generated, but levels no.
2. In final version will be something like secret dungeons or new outfit. (maybe new character)
3. There will be 3 or 4 secondary weapons like FrogBomb, Mines etc. Primary weapon will be upgradeable to 5 levels.
4. Free Alpha version with first dungeon are downloadable on our website. New alpha 1.4 will be available in the next 2 weeks.
5. I think yes, and i will try optimize difficulty levels. After every boss battle there will be MagicShop, so you can buy here some frogs or another funny things.

Like Isaac is nice clone of old Legend of Zelda. ;-) I saw Isaac on YouTube and look nice. But in first place, Obludia is "clone" of old game Smash-TV and Robotron 2084 in fantasy world. But there are plenty of games what i love and inspired me much.

I believe Obludia alpha 1.2 will be available tomorrow! \o/ I've made some changes in gameplay and of course graphics in new dungeon Ancient Tower. I added OPTIONS (music/sfx - on/off, and fullscreen button) ...Hope you will enjoy the new "frog-bomb" :-)

At this moment there is not official full support for Windows 8. Obludia is primarily released on windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and later maybe on Mac. I think problem with bomb you refered might be caused by multiple sound effects playing in short period of time. For example, when you throw a bomb and kill multiple enemies at the same time, every kill has sound effect which oddly make the game crash on Win8. We will take closer look at what may cause incompatibility with Windows8. Thank you for understanding. Please report any bugs and problems in Obludia as well as ideas what you would like to see in game. Thank you very much for bug report! We will try to fix all bugs and make the game ready without any flaws. We will consider to add Xbox 360 controler support but Obludia main gameplay derives from mouse and keyboard which we see the most fitting for this style of game.

Hello! Thanks for suggestion. Yes in this alpha 1.1 is only first dungeon with 10 levels + first boss. But in next week will be available new version 1.2 with complete new dungeon "Ancient Tower" (Mage Tower). There will be new monsters like rats, funny carnivorous plants or dark mage and of course new power-ups.

Thanks! We add new features every day. In alpha 1.2 will be new power-up BOH (boots of haste) or new spell - STORM. And We are thinking about new outfit / graphics for hero, maybe like Mage or Archer. I hope that you will enjoy full version.

Sorry, but really i no played binding of isaac. I saw only video on YouTube and when i saw this, a thought "Hey! this is nice game!" it looks a bit like a famous game by Nintendo, ZELDA. ...I wanted make nice Robotron style game in FANTASY world, therefore maybe Obludia looks like Binding of Isaas. And if is Binding of isaac famous game, i am very happy that Obludia looks like this title. :-) Thanks! But In Obludia will be many different themes, not only dungeons. There will be Winter theme with evil snowmans and penguins... or Lava pit... Hope you like it. :-) Updated demo will be available next week on Desura and our homepage. And sorry for my poor english... sometime i must use google translator. :-)

Thanks! and sorry for the late reply. Yes, little I have been inspired by Binding Of Issac, i mean the background in the game. But i have never played this game. In the first place i have been inspired by classic titles like Robotron or Smash TV. But i have been inspired from many another great games like Super Mario Bros (there will be princess to save) etc.

THANKS! Today I've made some changes in gameplay on Obludia. After every boss-battle you level-up and you can upgrade your 3 skills, Attack, Health and Speed. I believe NEW Obludia playable demo will be available next week!
