I am a two person company with one game out and another on the way.
I'm starting to get the ball rolling for my second game. It's set in modern times, I originally had in mind for it to be completely story driven, but now there may be some fighting in it. Instead of small profile pictures of the main characters when they speak, you'll see the upper bodies of the characters along with a range of expressions. It's taking some time but I am almost finished with the character sprites I need, there's a whole lot more of them than my first game Kaisa, with the potential of adding more. I'm also on the fence of having some drawings for cutscenes. I'd like to do some animated ones, but I don't have the kind of graphic tablet that will allow me to do that. And its just too much work to do it all on paper and then draw them on the computer again and color them. But I have every intention of outdoing Kaisa. I have a solid storyline in mind with about 13 pages already written, and I plan on there being 3 different endings based on the choices you make along with the story having slight variations depending on the conversational choices you make to give the game more replay value. When I'm far enough along I'll be posting demos for feedback so I'll know if I'm going in the right direction.
