I started to work with CryEngine Sandbox twelve years ago. (damn, already 13 years?) I also work with Game Maker and I'm learning with Unreal Engine 4.

nice! living windows are important for immersion!
maybe you an add also "decals" on house walls, like firestairs, satelite dishes, rainpipes? just to break up the plane sturctures.

Houses with angled roofs already have rain pipes. :D
Fire stairs are planned, since player has ability to climb, they will be really useful.
Yeah, stuff like satelites or AC units... I've forgotten about them a little but their time will also come.
Now I'm trying to avoid distractions to debug and improve most important stuff like car physics and AI. This was mostly just a "let's try if it really works"

Well, looks like I've finally solved the car AI. Looks like now it works much better. After testing, I met no "loosing path" while normal driving and only very few "lost paths" in "fleeing" mode and also I've already even reduced them. (on the other hand, few lost paths don't mind, low skilled driver simply "mishandled")
I also cropped the code from 4*78 lines to 4*30 "fresh" lines. (4 scripts for 4 main directions)

PS: Thank you

Nice setting. I hope we get a nice flashlight.

8 years, lol. Yes, these things take time. But it looks fresh in 2016! :D

For some reason lights don't illuminate everything, I must do some research to get it working. Then there will be more kinds of mobile light sources. Maybe even a burning torch or a candle. :D

Few hours back I've realised how easily glowing windows can be done. Well, this is the result.
I really like it. It will look even much better when windows will get randomly on and off and the ambient lighting won't remind Slender Man.
