As far as i know, we only used the water shader and a few rubble models from HL2 for this, which will be replaced later on.

and the result might not be what you expected/hoped for.
i think they're right about doing the best they can, there's no need to make a 100% scientifically correct game..

..i don't see why you want the mod to look like HL content transferred to the source world.. i get the idea of porting, but you won't get a real HL feel if there's stuff like realtime lighting in there..

i must say, i'm really impressed with this mod..
i'm not that big of a DB fan, but seeing this almost makes me want to play it.. but then i remember that i have my own mod to make, and i return to my modeling with a sad look on my face.

but seriously, the models and animations look great, you must have one good coder there. only real critique i have is that the maps look rather empty, they needs some more rocks and trees. and the mushroom effect was horrible but i see that you've already taken that one out ;P

the model looks great, but i think the hair would look a lot better if you baked the occlusion map into the texture..
unless you've already done it, then i'd copy+paste it and multiply, cause it's hardly visible. otherwise, great job!

i like all the weapons done by Kathar.. nice work, especially liked those Berettas.
about those zombies.. i would spend more time in making different looking zombie models, instead of only making multiple skins for a few models..
the texture alone won't hide that you're continuesly using the same model.

the texturing of the ships is pretty badly done, and it looks like the whole ship is fully lit all the time, you should really bake the shadows in the textures of the model, and a better texture for that deck wouldn't be a bad idea.. these look way too clean, and you can hardly see that they used planks to build the deck.

awesome trailer, nice cinematics and everything,
but that battleaxe looks pretty lowpoly, and the texture really needs some more work, that's the cleanest warhammer i've ever seen.
the maps looked cool too, just a bit empty.

this was pre-rendered, prescripted and your probably not gonna see any of these animations in the real mod.

i mean, it was an awesome trailer, but you shouldn't get you hopes up about it actually being as good as this.
