Well there is a (if any) difference between shadows beings - the race and their organic ships, which are also alive and may sound different (?) but yeah not a bad suggestion hearing them in whispering mode. But personally I like shadows sounding a bit darkish and I would prefer the whispering tone of voice for the vorlon ships instead (there is a Guardians of Light - Vorlon campaign in production so we'll see how it turns out).

Although african/desert maps didn't appeared in RA1 universe, the new Pipeline is looking very good giving a new standard to all other APB mapping. The open map will be a good playground for snipers and phase tanks. Can't wait to see that in action.

You are mistaken, the daleks have a more of british accent and sound a bit robotic-like. This has nothing to do with Dr. Who.
Nobody knows how the Shadows really sound like actually. In the tv show, they were just screaming a long echoes. In this TBP campaign, they were given a voice according to Vidmaster's vission. It turned out well to give players some feeling and idea how evil, cruel and dark a Shadow can be.

Hello I'm VERTi60, my real name is Ivo. I'm a big C&C and Freespace fan, but I also love to try other similar games. I used to be a web admin for a netstormHQ.com (since '05) which was hosting one of the most original real time strategy games ever made - NetStorm: Islands at war (since '97). I heavily support the mod scene, mostly free online projects which are fun to play. Currently I'm member of [SG] clan steelguardians.co.uk (before I was member of -SF- @ www.superior-clan.com) which supports C&C Tiberian Sun: Reborn and C&C Red Alert: Apocalypse Rising, and other, but most of them are C&C Renegade mods/full conversions. You can find all those games at w3dhub.com, where I work as moderator and promo video support. On the F2P MMO scene, I'm currently playing Warframe and Robocraft, both very awesome done games.
