Thanks for your interest. I've decided to move this project concept over to Unity 4.
When Im ready and confident with how my proof of concept is shaping up, I'll post a proper update here possibly along with some gameplay footage. Until then checkout my profile page as Ill be using it to document my early progress with Unity 4 and C#.

Ive gotta agree na13 here, having the caps so far behind the lines is an utter pain.
If its not to difficult to mod, I would wholeheartedly support the ability to move your capitol every couple of years.

If there was such a rigged creature already present in NV then yes but sadly theres no 4 legged walking creatures that I know of.
There are however 3 legged skating creatures which Im tempted to use as tachikomas..
Ive also seen some 6 legged things, and Im tempted to test fireants aswell, but they would all be npc. At the moment, you can only 'drive' humanoid vehicles like mechs.

Good question. Its isnt much of an issue since the meshs dont overlap the 1st person camera, and when in 3rd person, you can simply use this mod Newvegas.nexusmods.com

Yeah man that movies in my 10 top for sure. That scene where the JGSDF was deploying through out the snowy city and there was no talking for like 20 mins, jus the ambient sounds and music, just absolutely beautiful.

We had an in-house system under development, but then ermeso released his insanely well done squad control mod, XSquad so were gonna roll with that.
The mod will be episode based, like the Walking Dead pc game. I cant give an exact answer, but each time you beat a mission, its then downloaded into your cyber-brain, where you can replay it as many times as you want (skirmish mode), aswell as attempt challenges to unlock stuff you can take with you back to NV :)

Well, in TJP the whole 50's themed stuff has gone out the window. Were cruising more along the lines of Ghost in the Shell for art direction.
Its actually a collection of anime all rolled into a hybrid 'allstars' space rts. Shows to watch to get an idea of what will be featured in this mod - Banner of the stars/Crest of the stars, Macross, Outlaw star, Detonator Orgun, Gundam, Project A-ko, Irresponsible Captain Taylor and Cowdoy Bebop to name a few :)
