I'm a Designer, mainly focused on Environment & Level Design how ever do often end up expanding into the other fields of design such as Props, Weapons and Vehicles ect ect. I've been modding content since i long as i can remember and really enjoy trying to improve upon an existing idea along with implementing entirely new ones. Currently I'm a active designer on the Star Wars Conquest project and have been since 2008.

We didn't forget, we just wanted to focus on the more crucial worlds of that era. When all the current worlds have been finished to a good standard I'm sure we will begin adding more. ;)

Bioware has not given SWTOR any release date, only a "target window\" of Holiday 2011 which is still expected to change.

We're not paid designers who have the ability to put 9-5 into this project. We're a small team who sacrifice some free time off our own backs to work on this project so we're in no way in any form of competition with other studios.. quite simply the mod will be released when it's ready.

Working on a project with such deep lore & rich history as Star Wars requires us to do a large amount of research on every element we put into the game:

Taris was destroyed in 3956 BBY and was rebuilt over the next few thousand years. Star Wars Conquest (SWC) is set in 1 ABY, giving more than enough time for the cityscape to develop and reach the levels you will see within SWC... so no time travelling here. ;)

I did indeed say i would try to upload some stuff every two weeks, and it was a little over two weeks.

There's been alot of progress made over the last two weeks, every thing from improvements to our lighting system to the awesome revamp of the Death Star and we've even had two new members join our team so the rate of progress is only going to improve.

Alot of the stuff we're still keeping under wraps until we have finalized and polished it. One of the many improvements this last two week was the revamp and final touches added to Taris.

As we have previously stated many times; "We will be focusing on Warband once we have put out our next release."

It's sadly not as easy as that. The big problem is that M&B Engine can't handle a great amount of quality and one of the most frustrating things is we're constantly having to reduce the quality of our work in order to avoid those Error & Crashes and also need to ensure the mod can run on a range of different machines.

We previously stated our main focus for the next release is "High Quality", therefore alot of the content has been polished and improved to give a much greater appearance to the mod. how ever we are limited by the engine.

Just put some new Screenshots up.
We've been a little shy in terms of public updates despite the vast improvements we have been making to the game, so I will try and put up some new stuff up every two weeks so you can all see what it is we're busy working on. :)

We feel your pain, alot of our team is also waiting for the big SWTOR release (me included). Development simply takes time and SWC is no exception. We're eager to move SWC onto bigger things (Warband) but before we do we want to make sure we give our players of the original M&B one final great release. :)

Once we have released the next version of Star Wars Conquest we will be turning our attention towards Warband and with that we will be taking full advantage of all the perks the Warband engine has to offer us.

How ever due to Fire&Sword basically just being a Mod for the Warband Engine there are currently no plans for us to bring out another version of Star Wars Conquest for Fire&Sword.

As I understand it; It's completely possible for us to fully port SWC over to Warband in it's existing state. How ever from a development point of view we would be much more inclined to take the opportunity of a port to "refine" the mod further, giving a overall much improved and polished experience for our players. :)

It's still some time away before we get to the stage of porting how ever we have had design concepts of what it is we would like to achieve with the Warband version since as early as last December.

Lol, i tried to take to into account what we have added since the 9.3.0 release aswell. There isn't really any accurate percentage of completion, how ever I'm sure it's some where in the 90% section. ;D

It has been a long time since we have put out a release and we're very thankful for the great support we've had from our players.

The mod is finally reflecting what it is we have been working towards for so long and that said I'm sure once we've released many people will agree it will have been worth the long wait.

Currently there is no official release date for the next version, how ever rest assured the mod is still being actively developed and once we get it to a stage where we feel it's appropriate for a release we will put the date out. :)

Lol, He actually did ask "How far" so felt it was relevant to simply to quote Han's "Did the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs" line.

As for a release time estimate; We can't really say just yet, but don't worry it's definitely less than a lightyear. ;P

I don't work on the coding aspect of SWC so can't give you a definite answer, but from the HUGE amount of changes we have made to SWC between version 0.9.3 and 0.9.4 I'm pretty certain your Save files won't be compatible in the next release.

Small price to pay for an awesome update. ;P
