I'm a Designer, mainly focused on Environment & Level Design how ever do often end up expanding into the other fields of design such as Props, Weapons and Vehicles ect ect. I've been modding content since i long as i can remember and really enjoy trying to improve upon an existing idea along with implementing entirely new ones. Currently I'm a active designer on the Star Wars Conquest project and have been since 2008.

The purpose of the Preview-0.9.4 version is that it's a buggy pre-release so we can track down and fix all the bugs. We won't be releasing any hot fix for it.

Once we have located and fixed all bugs we will then release the official 0.9.4 stable release. :)

Thanks to all those who have been testing our new 0.9.4-preview release and helping us locate bugs. It does seem there is a significant bug related to combat at the moment that results in a crash to desktop.

We've already spent some time this weekend fixing some of the bugs you guys have reported to us and i imagine we will be spending alot more time next week working on the remaining issues.

Weird i was just checking through some stuff, turns out we do actually have a Mandalorian Neocrusader helmet in the mod.

It's listed as "Mandalorian Beskar helmet", for some reason it's not in the Mandalorian troop tree i don't think though it's coming up in the Armor store.

I will check with Swyter about it.

To be totally honest we could really do with having a dedicated character designer on the team to focus on the armour pieces and such.

i think the Neocrusader helmet was removed when the new Mandalorian Armor set got put in. Unfortunately the guy who did those armor sets didn't come up with a neo crusader one and the one we currently had in game looked incredibly strange/glitchy on the new Mandalorian armor set so had to be removed from the tree.

lol we only just put this version up yesterday. :P

It will be a few weeks until we look at putting the official version out since we want to get as much of the bugs reported to us and fixed for this version as possible. Obviously we heavily want to avoid putting the official version out and then having to release a hotfix just days later to fix some thing we may have missed, so the more feedback we get from this version the better.

This is probably due to you attempting to run this mod on Warband when the mod is for the original Mount&Blade.

We will be looking at porting it over to Warband once we have released the official 0.9.4 release. :)

Nope. We've made nearly 900 updates to the mod since 9.3, unfortunately making such huge improvements has the downside of making save files in compatible.

You can always just download the Mount&Blade trial and run SWC on that. Obviously you still have the level cap but least you get to try the mod out before we port it over to warband. :)

I think "Green Darth Vader" is the only obvious placeholder.

Bare in mind this is simply a preview version to locate bugs and such, most will be fixed in a couple of weeks when we bring the official version out.

I can only suggest you lower the amount of AI on the battlefield.

If you mean the 'Fight on the Ship' scenes, then yup.
We now have four new unique ship hangar battle scenes which change depending on which faction you are aligned to.

According to the specs I found for the Tie Fighter, it's suppose to be 24 feet in height (Roughly the same height as a average two storey house in the UK.)

So the Tie Fighter in that scene is pretty much to scale, if not a little smaller.

There is our internal development build, which has had over well over 800 updates to it. We will soon be releasing that build as a 'pre-beta' so people can give us feedback and we can fix any nasty bugs that pop up.

Then hopefully in the next several weeks we will be looking at officially releasing version 0.9.4 :)

I imagine it will be what ever is the most newest version at the time, though don't take my word for that since better off asking Swyter those sort of questions. I'm sure we will counter some surprise bugs when we attempt to port the entire thing over though so we will have to see how things play out when we reach that stage.

I actually haven't played much Warband in comparison to how much time I've spent on M&B so not sure exactly what's changed in the newer versions of Warband tbh.

We're finishing off 0.9.4 at the moment and hopefully will be releasing it within a couple of months. Once it's released we will begin porting the entire project over to Warband and continuing it's future development on Warband.

Personally I would be up for adding a rare CIS Remnant party at some point but unfortunately due to the time period the mod is set in (1-3 ABY) the CIS were heavily disbanded by this point, so giving them any territory wouldn't really be possible if we're holding true to the Star Wars Lore.

I don't think we have changed the special weapons much in this next coming update though we have discussed some balance issues and pricing things with our weapons that may change depending on time limit.
