I am a History student and a WWII fan. My favourite games are historicall FPS set in WWII like Call of Duty and Red Orchestra. I also like RTS games like Age of Empires and Warcraft III. Other hobbies I have are reading history books or novels (I like J.R.R Tolkien) and listening to heavy metal music. I like Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian and Rhapsody.

So, it's basically a loading screen in the United Offensive style. Nice touch; I aprove ;D
About the dialogues, I was actually replying to Taintxs' comment, but I can send him a PM as well. If he likes to add some dialogues for his mission, I could do something, and even my brother could give me a little help as with the Spanish mod. We could do it also for other new SP missions, if Triby makes some after he finishes his great mod.

I think you should delay it a bit more if you need to, because all the changes sound great and I would like to have all the new weapons togather at once :p So, I don't mind waiting a bit more, it's surely worth the waiting.
Nice job!! :D

That would be nice. Personaly, I prefer a diary loading screen like in the original CoD2 missions since it has some information about the story and a little briefing for the mission (there are also some WW2 photos and stuff surounding the diary in most missions). Besides, that way we would know the German charachter's name.
Furthermore, I have recorded some German voices for the 1936 mod and even if I used my phone the quality is not as bad as I had thought it would be. So, if you want to add some dialogues in German, I could help you.

All the work looks excellent, Martin, as allways. Personally, I'll be done with university next week, so I'll work in the translations you sent to me some (long) time ago. Sorry about the great delay.

About the SP mission Red Square Massacre, could you add a loading scren with the characters diary like in the stock CoD2 missions? (you should give the German character a name, because we don't know it yet). The same goes for other custom SP missions, if you want to add them. For example, missions like Leningrad, Stalingrad and Eastyorks (I tink that those three should be added, if possible, because they are great, and the feature the original CoD2 characters as well).

Regards, and great job!! :D

You know, I'm a bit tired of all this modern stuff about vampires and zombies nowadays, that have nothing to do with Bram Stoker's excellent work, nor with slavic mythology.
So, I'm glad that you made this mod regarding more traditional stories, also mixing them woth some Eastern European History. The idea of an Eastern European Age of Mythology sounds funny.
One idea: what about a campaing with the Romanians (with vampires and all) facing the Turks? That way you could mix mythology and History.

Another sp mission would be excellent!!

I think that it should be from the German side once again, because there are already too many missions from the allied side. A continuation of Red Square Massacre would be nice, why not to set it again in Stalingrad, but with more tanks and some heavy battles? If you could add the T34, that would be epic. Or, for example, the crossing of the Volga wou; you should stop the Russians in the red square. Or recapture the city hall, etc. Or what about Kursk?

Anyway, there are a lot of good ideas for another good mission. Im suggesting you only ideas concerning the eastern Front, because it's my favourite one, but any new sp mission in any front would be nice.

Wow, I love the new weapons you added to the SP mission Red Square Massacre (an excellent mission, by the way). Also, I had never seen pictures of the Maxim M1910 before; nice job!

Another thing I like very much from the latest videos are the sounds. Youu know, I have been playing Red Orchestra: Ostfront from time to time (when I have time :D), and it's impressive how good sound can make the whole gameplay much more intense. The same goes for Back2Fronts sounds. Just amazing.

So, just keep up the great work, boys!
Best regards.

Well, I just finnished the mission.

All I can say is: AMAZING!! Really, great job, man. It's allways excellent just to have a new sp mission. But this one was from the German side for the first time, and long enough, and so damn difficult (especially the boss part, although I relly enjoyed killing Letlev lol). And I had no problems with profiles.

The only "problem" I noticed (not really a problem) is about the German names. Some soldiers had names wich were not a German name and surname, but two surnames.
For example, I remember a soldier called Fischer Baum; now, Fischer and Baum are both surnames, you should call them, for example, Hans Fischer, or Wilhelm Baum. And another soldiers were just called Unknown Soldier, like in mp.

But that's all. The mission is excellent, very funny to play (wich is the most important thing) and yeah, quite hard. So, congratulations, and thank you very much!!

P.S: If I'm not wrong, MCh2207cz made a T34 model for the Yugoslav mod. Wouldn't it be possible to replace the Sherman tanks with T34 tanks (just wondering; I don't know if a static model can be "brought back to life"). The same goes for the MG42 MGs, there's a pretty nice DP28 model that you could use to replace them (you would need permission from the owner, of course).

So, it seems that the map is almost about to be released! Can't wait to play it. The video looks very good.

Just one thing. I played the mission Outfoxed the other day. It's very good, but I had one problem. After I played the mission, I noticed that the profiles I had (with the completed sp campaign) had been deleted, and replaced with a new profile (I don't remember the name of the new profile).
Not big deal, I can start the campaign again when I have time because I like it very much, but please check it if you can. I supose it should have been that mission because I hadn't any other mods at that time.

Again, excellent work. Can't wait to play!!
Best regards.

Nunca viene mal.

It's a shame that this mod is dead. It looks good and there are no games set in the Korean War.
But I see that you have some very nice Russian weapons there. If you wish to give them an use, you can give them to the Forgotten Hope 2 modteam; they will include the Soviet Red Army in the next version of their mod for Battlefield 2.

Congratulations for such an excellent mod! I found it the other day and I was really amazed. So much detail, so much realism, and above all else, so much Historical knowledge and research.

You know, I'm a bit of a strange person. I study History, and I like above everything else military Histroy, of course. And my favourite parts are WW1, WW2 and... Ancient Greece (yes, I know, a bit strange, as I said). That's why, besides some good First Person Shooters set in WW2 (Red Orchestra and some Call of Duty), I like very much the games set in Ancient Greece, when they are good.

One of the best games I have ever played is Master of Olympus: Zeus. Just perfect. I wish they made a remake like they did with Caesar and Pharaoh (I doubt it, though). So, it's great to see somebody make a mod like this, a really historically game, and not some more 300 crap.
One question: will the soldiers still speak English, or will you import some Greek voices from games like Age of Mythology, for example? That would be a nice touch.

So, although I don't have Battle for Middle Earth 2, I might get it when this mod is finished.

Again very nice work, and congratulations (and sorry for such a long post).

You can play as a Soviet soldier in the original game (in my opinion, the Soviet campaign was the best one in every CoD game).
If you want more, there are two custom missions called Stalingrad and Leningrad, in wich you can play as the Soviets. If you haven't played them yet, do it; they are both very good ;D

Hi, people.

Can anyone here contact Cpt. Weasley and tell him to contact either me or MCh2207.cz (the author of the Back2Fronts mod for CoD2)? It's about a model for the Sten he imported from Black Ops to WaW, and we thought that Cpt. Weasley may find a use for it in his mod, but he hasn't replied to the message I sent to him (perhaps he's on vacation or something?)

Thanks in advance.
