I am a History student and a WWII fan. My favourite games are historicall FPS set in WWII like Call of Duty and Red Orchestra. I also like RTS games like Age of Empires and Warcraft III. Other hobbies I have are reading history books or novels (I like J.R.R Tolkien) and listening to heavy metal music. I like Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian and Rhapsody.

The animation for the bayonet atachment is just great!

Also, will there be many weapons with selective fire? In CoD1, there were the Thompson, the BAR, the PPSh and the FG42. And now also the Sten (I didn't know it had selective fire in real life) and the MG34 (I'm glad you added that one,it's really usefull lol)

Oh, no, that's a shame! We really wanted for new SP missions from the German side, and Triby's work in the Spanish mod was so perfect :-(

About the map Sealion, I agree. It's a good mission (in my opinion) but not nearly as good as Red Square Massacre (wich is probably the best custom SP mission ever made for CoD2). Perhaps you could edit the Sealion mission and change the first part, so instead of landidng in England, the Germans fight in France (the map itself is very similar to Narmandy after all).

But again, that would only make one mission in France. Personally, I would prefer to see a whole German campaign (perhaps 4-5 missions) set completly in Russia. Perhaps Taintxs or some other skilled modder could do that in the future, after the mod is released.

Yes, I also hope that more custom maps were added to the mod, so we could play a custom campaign from the German side. Sadly, the German Front Mod was never able to accomplish that mission, and it costed its life :-(

Now, back to the picture itself, it looks really great. Now you should add a statue of Trotsky as well. No, wait.... XD

WOW!! Man, great job! I love the MG-34 (I wouldn't say it saved my life so many times in Red Orchestra, but it did its work lol).

Will you also add a stationary version like the MG42?

Hi all people!

I don't think this is the right place to discuss this, but I will give it a try. My game (Red Orchestra 2) is crashing a lot lately. There isn't a single day in which I play it and it doesn't crashes to desktop at least 2-3 times. That did not happen before the latest patches.

Has anyone had this problem as well? If so, is there any advice you could give to me?

Someone told me that the problem could be related to Google Chrome, which sounded a bit strange to me, and other people told me that Google Chrome has nothing to do with Red Orchestra. What do you know about this?

Thanks in advance boys. I hope Tripwire Interactive releases a new patch soon, fixing this issues (as well as the SP campaign) instead of just adding Steam workshop content...

Anyway, best regards to all.

Yeah, it's like the song by Metallica, "Sad but True". And yet I think that the new campaign should be your priority. Personally I don't mind waiting a long time for it to be ready, but I think it would be the best part of the mod since it's something we have (sadly) never seen in any other CoD game.

Perhaps you could contact Triby (the guy who made the Spanish Civil War expansion pack for CoD 2). He is a very talented SP mapper, I'm sure he could help you once he finishes his work for the Back2Fronts mod (another mod I can't wait to play lol).

Anyway, all the updates you posted on the last days look great! So please keep up the work, no matter what it is.

Best regards!

The model looks great, much better than the stock one. And as far as I remember (I haven't played the WCP mod for a long time), it also had an excellent sound.
The only problem is that it lacked a proper reload animation; but perhaps you can create one.

Very nice work, guys (as allways)! I didn't know that the BT was originally thought to be in the US Army but was rejected.

This tank was also used in the Winter War between Finland and the Soviet Union.
My question is: would you add Finland in some Eastern Front maps (perhaps not Winter War, but Continuation War). That would give us another Axis power (since Japan won't be in the mod), and also one of my favourite countries in WW2, which is (sadly) not featured in many games.

Looks good, but it should be "Rise of the Reich" (unless it's a joke or something like that which I don't get since I'm not English).
But if it's not, correct it, or everyone will keep saying that instead of discussing about the mod itself.

Good luck with your mod ;)

Actually some of those maps have SP versions.
I don't play on SP but on Coop., which I think is better, since you can create a map list and also customize the game settings (spawn time, etc.), and I can play on all those maps against the bots.
The only maps that seem not to have bot support yet (even in Coop.) are St. Vith, the new map from version 2.45 set in Tunis (can't remember the name) and (strangely) Bardia (I say strangely because it did have bot support in version 2.4; I hope they add it again).
