I play video games not really much else to tell, usually mods make the games more fun than the original game is. But what else is new right? I AM A HUGE FAN OF COMMAND AND CONQUER AND BY FAN I MEAN WESTWOOD!!! Eat my stick EA!!!!
My Paging window says Total paging file for all drives is
Minimun allowed : 16mb
And its being system managed atm
what should i set it too?
I have 2 hd 5770's ATI cards but im only using one. Ill try to increase Virtual memory.
Also I keep seeing Directx_dx29 or sumthing in the crash
and theres a file called d3dx9_29.dll in the Games CD could this also be contribute to the crash?
I go back to the main issue at hand and that was "out of memory".
I read right now it sometimes got to do that the "virtual memory" is to LOW for some programs. (also depends on what your graphic-hip can handle)
here i got a link for how to get there. If this doesn't work. then i can't help anymore.
OK ILL TRY THAT
"The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program." is also known to other games.
I found just 1 solution that can maybe help.
Someone says that when he started up the game that he does Cnrl+alt+del
and stops "Cnc3.exe" process. (but because game.DAT keeps running that game does not shut down) and so he somehow got no errors anymore.
it's hard to believe but you can always try.
I'll keep searching.
I THINK I FOUND A SOULTUON But Theres a file called Feb2006_d3dx9_29_x86.cab in the DirectX folder in the Command and Conquer 3 folder location in C:\Programfiles\Electronic Arts\ Command and Conquer\DirectX\
yOU OPEN THIS FILE with winrar move d3dx9_29.dll in the directx folder and it fixes the crash BUT there is still the problem of units being invisible after you build them SPREAD THE WORD.
it didnt work
Heres what i notice when the crash appears I look at my task manager and my Memory usage for game.dat reaches over 1,000,000
everytime it crashes. So theres a connection there.
What kind graphic-card do you have?
better question also when did you made your PC?
