Perhaps you can release this mod in modules or regions? It's too big to release in one go. Think about it. imho if you wait until the mode is perfectly finished and done, then it will never be finished. I can't remember any games comany attempting to recreate the entire middle earth. It's crazy, even with a paid team.
Has someone ever tried to shoot this Mod down from Middle Earth Enterprises? If that happens, don't forget to let us know where you're going to keep modding this in secret ;)
That's good. By the way, how long is the day-night cycle in the game?
Would you say the Mod is going full speed? as expected? Or are areas that are behind shedule.
30% left, that's promising.
Oh, alright. Because I thought you'd come up with something simeilar: Lotr.wikia.com But I'm sure you already been throught this site.
Another question. Will you include horsewagons in the game? Like wandering merchants or just like another way of travel? Red Dead Redemption had the most amazing wagons and horses. But you don't have that kind of engine, so I wonder if it's possible.
You have probably mentioned this before, but what about the voices? Are you reusing some or will all be new? I am sure we have great talent amongst ourselves.
Meaty update coming this week right, ritght, right?
So how will the release of Elder scrolls V affect the release of MERP?
Now that's what I call an in-game cloak! Nicely done.
Needs a beak too. Fellbeast is described with a beak in the books.
so that means yes.
Wow, really good concept art.
I have a question. How long will it take in game time from Hobbiton to Bree? Or Bree to Rivendell? As I walked I relised that the world might be as big as LOTRO. Perhaps a tad smaller?
Oh I see, so it has nothing to do with the Last Homely House. Thanks for clariflying.
How should one view the Hall of Fire. I thought it was inside the last homely house. Everything is looking really nice and professional.
Nice, but the Hall of fire isn't supposed to be inside the last homely house? What am I missing.
mmm...why do I get the idea that the beard looks prosthetic. Perhaps a little darkening of the skin around the beard edges would help? Dunno.
Woah, that second Minas Tirith map looks incredible. If only such detail could be acomplished.
Hmmm, something came to mind. If Elder Scrolls V hits the shelves within a year, are you sticking to Oblivion engine to finish the job? What if the same that happened with the Morrowind Engine happens when the next ES is released and you jump ship halfway development. I bet the next engine will be like nothing we have ever seen.
I have walked around the mod, very nice. Do you have a feedback area? I know is very beta but I'd like to make some comments if I may.
Very nice WIP. I look forward to see the pony. Got any Pony exterior pic? Shame the update has been delayed.
I am curious about the sources you use. Are you using the Atlas of Middle Earth (Karen Wynn Fonstad) and Joh Howe's or Alan Lee's reference images? You mentioned a height map. What was the reference for that map? And what's the scale? If there is one.
Walk free? Can you ride free too?
Oh but we can access the fast unfinished Middle Earth on every update =)
Just wondering, will we be able to use boats?
I am going to reinstall the Oblivion GOTY. How are you going to approach in-game books. Will you make them in different languages with a translation skill? That's something I always wanted to see.
Don't agree with choosing Elijah Wood for this.
