This mod is by no means bad. I remember playing it way back when it was just reskinned half-life models but now it makes use of DoD content it adds a nice degree of polish to the mod.
The difficulty is off the chart and that is why I give the mod such a high rating. A lot of people complain about it being too hard but I reckon these will be your pansy gamers who are used to modern releases which spoon feed players to an insulting degree. This offers something unique.
In the sniper mission in Normandy, I was actually using cover and flanking the enemy, rather than charging in head on. I found myself feeling genuinely tense as I navigated the corners of the ruined town.
This is a really nice change and I don't think the mod is getting the praise it deserves. If it's too hard for you, go play Call of Duty and kill off the last of your brain cells.
In some places the stealth element is a little unfair since Half-Life is not coded as a stealth game, but otherwise I genuinely enjoyed this.

I don't quite understand why this has such a low rating. Sure it's easy to get lost and the lack or narrative often means you don't know what to do next, but for the most part it was ok. The level design was pretty awesome in my eye and there were some nice details added around the place to make it look like a pretty convincing work environment.
One thing I cannot get over is the model inconsistencies. Blue HEV suit, orange sleeves and an awkward blend of HD and LD models... Would have given it an extra point if those issue had been sorted out prior to release.

I enjoyed blasting through this little map pack, though I wouldn't say there was anything particularly groundbreaking about it. The story was fairly minimal and pretty predictable, but there was some good voice acting present.
Overall, it seems to mimic the events of HL2's story, only severely watered down with less memorable characters.
The mapping is also something of a let down. While the external sections are pretty nice and the dark forest in particular was very nicely done, the interior sections throughout lacked any real flare with regards to architecture and lighting. The section on the moving train comes to mind. The interior of the tunnel was pretty flat and lifeless but was still brightly lit. It seems to me the the train cars would have had their own lighting, rather than have something powering the lighting for an indefinitely long tunnel.

I actually enjoyed this. The last room was a hell of a challenge with the invisible spies but it was still good fun. Really nice use of custom textures and the mapping is superb. My only gripe is that it was far too short, but considering the author only had 7 days to complete it, he has done a fantastic job.
7/10 simply because there wasn't enough of it. :D
