We're very selective about the images we put out. We don't exactly want to show off every single area of the mod before you get a chance to play it. That would ruin the surprise.

We will be releasing more media soon but this is another process that takes us away from working on the mod. The more time we spend on the mod, the sooner you can play it. :)

In terms of play time you'll likely be looking at a couple of hours, or more if you really explore the levels.

As for difficulty: The mod will be relatively easy on easy, about medium difficulty on medium and quite hard on the hard setting...

I'm honestly not sure how else I could have answered that. :P

It just makes the texturing of the original game look slap-dash, with no thought applied. Not only that, but you're using a texture set that has been sooo overused. (submerged.wad)

At least make your own content.

1. World War 2 isn't exactly a "fantasy" environment and to refer to it as such is insulting

2. It's not 'impossibly' difficult. It's just a lot harder than the baby-food, FPS crap that passes as a 'tactical shooter' these days. (Looking at Battlefield and Call of Duty here...)

With regards to your other points, the m16 stays I'm afraid. Our developer has just finished coding it to use separate ammo from the pistol and do more damage as well as slowing the fire rate. This essentially makes it a new weapon. If you really don't like the model then you can change it when the mod is out.

The SPAS12 is from the official High Definition Pack from Valve and Gearbox. It's been edited so that the stock is unfolded.

The trailer contains an area from the original Half-Life tram ride, remade to an almost HD degree. This is the only area from the official games that appears in the mod.

There are four zombie variants in total. Scientist, Security, Soldier and Admin.

Naturally we are cramming in a ton of easter eggs, parodies and secret areas.

My larger concern is that this project is big on words but paper thin elsewhere. I can understand keeping things behind closed doors but over a year with no updates? I'm afraid I've lost confidence in this project and stopped tracking.

We will be looking into adding more high quality sky boxes, but it's not a simple case of porting from Source. BMS levels of detail wouldn't even be possible.
