By all means they're free to do what they like. The truth is most people won't play it because they have Sven Coop, which features maps designed specifically for coop play.

Singleplayer maps and coop tend to result in a clusterfuck and all the ammo gets snatched up by the guy in front.

The story however is not for me. Allow me to break it down a little:

"Hours after the destruction of Black Mesa, the news is bad. It seems whatever was detonated didn't make it to the underground missile silo complexes, as hoped."

It was a nuclear warhead that was detonated. It would have leveled most of the complex and left a hefty crater. What wasn't demolished would have been massively irradiated.

"If we're to cover this up quietly, we're going to need to get rid of the "evidence", so to speak."

At this point the seven hours war would have been in full swing. Black Mesa had already been covered up by the nuclear blast.

"The silos were sealed off prior to Black Mesa's launch. Back when it was predominantly a military base. Not even the BM officials know about them."

I'm pretty sure everyone in the facility knew that the BMRF was built around a decommissioned missile silo. The officials would definitely know because they would have overseen the construction from day one!

MODDB is the best place to go for updates on The Core. Our YouTube channel is rarely used for The Core unless we are releasing a trailer or doing a Q&A but these are usually announced on MODDB first.

The YouTube channel is a good place to go if you're looking for footage of grown men acting like utter morons in various online games.

Adding detail really comes down to what the area would be used for.

If it's a storage area for example, then crates are the obvious choice but try not to go nuts. You could also add trash and stuff lying around.

Also, it's open to the elements so you're going to need drainage as well. :P

Sadly, this still needs a lot of work. The height of the rocks are way to uniform and especially the texturing. They repeat far too often and it's not natural looking at all.

One thing that really irritates me with these HD weapons is when you run dry your ammo counter reads 0|00, yet I can SEE 6 rounds right there on the side of my gun that I could use!

I don't see an issue with the furniture. I think it looks fine. If you have trouble getting a modeller, you could always put these brush based ones into Propper and turn them into models.

I gotta say from a graphic design aspect that this cover would look pretty weak when placed on a shelf among other titles. The key to decent cover art is to keep things moderatly simple while having a title and design that screams "YOU NEED THIS GAME RIGHT NOW! PURCHASE PURCHASE PURCHASE!!!"

The cliffs look pretty bad and you tend not to find doors set directly into walls and rock. Add some trims and supports. It's all in the finer details.
