Its just the angle of the screenshot. It still lands normally in-game. ;)

They certainly can be found in the 212th, however the above markings signify 'Communications Specialist' rather than unit.

Weapon limit is identical to RC. One main (which has sniper and anti-armor attachments), one sidearm, and one 'of your choice' weapon that can be dropped. You will, however, be able to swap out weapons before the start of each main mission.

Currently the defaults are:
Westar M-5 (with sniper & anti-armor attachment)
DC-17 Hand Blaster (ARC Trooper Pistol)
Z-6 Rotary Blaster (swappable with any weapon of your choice)

We're still working on a way to implement the weapon-swapping system, so you won't see it in the beta.

Which is exactly how we feel. ;) While we have had some trouble getting AI to follow you, you can expect to run across Platoons of Clone Troopers battling the enemy. (I seem to recall one such platoon, lead by a Sergeant, fighting off about 10-15 battle-droids before being utterly wasted by a Spider Droid [you can save them by killing the Spider Droid with your Anti-Armor attachment, or drawing fire from the spider while they pound it with their DC-15's]). Keep in mind though, your health has been drastically decreased from RC. One shot-gun blast, or a couple of hits from the battle-droids [who are horrible inaccurate] and you're dead, so those clones that you find come in handy ;)

You mean your Squadmates or the random AI you encounter? Your Squadmates can be healed (just like in RC), but that rAI can (and usually will) die. Of course it is possible to save them if you've got quick reflexes and are accurate with the Westar. ;) And don't worry, you'll have plenty of large battles.

Not sure. We're getting an internal build released to the Devs this weekend, though I don't know when we'll release the Public Beta. Honestly, I have no idea when we'll release it. I'll give you a more accurate ETA this weekend after I review what we've got so far. ;)

What he meant was making the sniper/grenade models, and making them work like the DC-17.

(Please note, this is NOT the final version. It's probably gonna go through two, maybe three more iterations before we finalize it.)

I can't speak for the rest of us, but I won't be able to help, sorry.

1. Don't have War-hammer (wish I did though)
2. Don't have the time. I have CM, plus my work for Apex/Caw, plus real life stuff to do. What little free time I do have I spend con mi familia en mi casa.

I can, however, wish you the best of luck. ;)

Though I personally despise TCWs, we could do something like that. We already have a few bonus levels where you play as StormTroopers. ;)

You're thinking of training on... was it Centax? I think it was Centax. Anyhoo, it was some sort of scuba-training for clones that Arc Trooper A-98 participated in at the time of the the Cestus Deception. We could certainty do something like that. (Though I don't know if we can do Scuba Stuff. Hope we can though, 'cause it sounds awesome) ;) We're already thinking of adding unolockable bonus-missions, so we could put in some ice/swamp/desert training missions.

I wish we could, though from what I understand, we can only animate static meshes using movers. Unfortunately, LucasArts severely mangled the copy of UnrealEd that ships with RC which limits what we can do. But if we can find a way to make it look better, we will. ;)

The droids can't deal damage in the prologue. (If they did, it'd be nigh upon impossible to beat, trust me - we modified the damage tables making it much easier to kill you, however we cut enemy health accordingly) ;)

Indeed, however the backpack serves a special purpose. ;) It's also useful for hauling around gear, sorta the trooper specialist version of the Commando pack. (Did I mention the special purpose? [Trust me, it's awesome/destructive, though I can't tell you exactly what it is just yet]) While the troopers all have personal communications systems built into their helmets that are capable of surface-to orbit transmitting, they simply don't have the range for, oh say surface-to-base planet half-way across the galaxy communications.
