Thanks both for the info - I do keep upto date on Hardlight forums although I only read the threads, rather than post.

Interesting to hear the direction of the missions. Sounds great, some small mini campaigns (hit and runs/ asbushes/ evacuations/ smuggling runs etc.) suit the rebel alliance strategy & feel anyway.

Good start to whet the appetite and then hopefully sometime down the line, there can be a bit more of an extended campaign!

Sweetstuff. Anticipation is building but how are the mission stuctures/ storyline going. Just seeing a lot of stunning modelling so far... (not complianing though!)

Keep up the good work. I suggest concentrating on one mod at a time. It will be good to get a completed project finished.

Also, if you havent already, check out the hard light forums. Plenty of modding advice available there with regards to Freespace at least. Will probably also get some more followers.

In the year 2000 I bought Freespace 2 in an HMV store on a special offer price of £9.99. I quickly bought the original freespeace soon afterwards.

Over a decade later and, on and off, I am still playing Freespace. It is still looking visually stunning in its newest incarnation and the additional campaigns and stories have added huge amounts of additional playability. This is looking like the pinnacle of all the development work to date.

That it hasnt been bettered in its genre since is astonishing. Keep up the good work - cant wait to play this. Another level of the Freespace story and genius that most gamers will never know. There again, Freespace was always overlooked by the wider audience.

Best £10 I will ever spend.
