Well have you correctly set up hammer? You need to point it at the Ex Directory's FGD file andthen it should have access to the Entities from Ex.

Hammer is currently broken thanks to Valves updates, although there is a possable fix on the forum about it.
The forum itself gets hit by a couple of hundred spam bots a week so your IP range has probably been used by one in the pastm if your IP is static we may be able to fix that, but if your coming from a communal connection theres not much we can do.

Steam has connection issues with the Ex servers and refuses to list them, there are in fact 3 servers up at any one time.
You just have to find them.
Its just you, make sure you Favourite the servers so you can see them as they randomly disapear from main server listings.

bad news, it is harder to do than you think (we tried already). check the forum for the full story, although mappers can place AI stuff on the map, its not currently supported and thus would only be the default HL2 stuff.
yes there is something very wrong with the server list. There are several servers up but i cannot see any of them either.
Go to our forum and ask there, people may be able to point you in the right direction.
were working on a balance patch (both forced team balance and minor tyranid buffs) that should see the lgiht of day very soon.
No other races, there not happening as its not part of the game plan.
the server list is not working correctly, check the forum for support and try the in game browser rather than the steam menu one.
I would add to that, should GW find such a violation of there terms and services it is highly likely they would move against the creators of the content (i.e. us at rs2:exterminatus) and shut the mod down.
Games Workshop really are quite militant about that kind of thing.
