I just installed misery 2.0 and i made sure to run stalker-cop as admin and the menu is still not working im running windows 8.1 and i have tried to run cop in win 7 compatibility mode but still have menu issue anything else i can do to fix problem.
thanks really looking forward to 2.0!
ive also tried different mice but no luck
All i can says is wow the misery team has again outdone themselves now their will be a use to all of my hording.
Just a thought but several of the hides listed such as the blood sucker's implied that those who wore them were considered to be experienced stalkers would it be possible to give the player certain special deals or discounts if they were wearing different pelts the idea being that if a player has the skill to kill a blood sucker they deserve respect just an idea.
didn't mean to down vote stupid system cant wait for misery 2.0!
That would be awesome but what would a bloodsucker attack feel like?!
hey LoNer1 i have been using your photo realistic zone mod along with old good stalker evolution and have been having really bad performance issues any suggestions? I posted a more detailed description on the photo realistic mod page thanks
So I am using this mod along with old good stalker evolution and the game is having major freezing issues for example when I turn around it will freeze and i have really seen a major performance drop. Whats funny is that my machine is capable or running misery fine. Im running a f4100 at 3.6ghz, 4gb ddr3 mem and an hd6670 im just wondering why im having lag issues any advice would be welcome. Love the textures though
disregard i didn't downgrade to 1.0004
Hey I just downloaded ZoA and when I am accept the fist mission to find artifactst the game ctd's and I get this error:
XR_3DA.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\steam\steamapps\common\STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl\bin\xrGame.dll" at 0023:05D124C3
I am using windows 8 and running cop in windows 7 compatibility mode
I'm going to uninstall ZoA to see if the games works then. I would welcome any advice that you guys could give me.
same problem here
but is your spirit?;)
I just fired up misery to do some quick testing and I was wondering if it is possible to increase the level that your vision rises or lowers when going from crouch to standing and vise versa. I often have a hard time remembering if I'm standing or crouching because there is so little change in your perspective. This is not a big deal but I just thought i would mention it. Also does anybody know an tweeks to rearrange the position of the hud and inventory menu for a eyefinty set up.
As others have said words can barely describe the grandeur of this picture this is excellent work for those of you who have eyefinity enable it and then view the pic
Thanks Misery Dev team for all the great time you gave me in 1.2 and I look forward very much to 2.0 cheers one the best mods on ModDb
Hello and welcome to Misery what will be your role on the team?
good april fool's at least I hope that what it is
while that is a good hardcore idea i don't think that would be very realistic to simply mae the hud a perk associated with a good helmet if anything taking the hud away while wearing a helmet would make a little more sense because helmets have a tendancy to limit you awarness
its all cool man i wasn't offended I did think the art work was pretty good though kinda makes you dream what stalker could have been, imagine misery for stalker 2 now that would be something
good point just thought some here might enjoy them
don't know how many of you guys are following Survarium but one of their artists has relised some new stalker 2 concept art enjoy! Hpnot1q-gaming.com
enhanced dialog sounds great and ha you guys did add a quest:)
I have the same question
sounds cool i run stalker in a triple 20inch eyefinity setup and love it
Thanks for the update and can't wait till 2.0 is out for those who might be getting impatient look at how long we have been waiting for hl3;)
okay well ill give it a go as well i kinda thought lurk was easier but ill try it
okay ill give that a shot thanks for the recomendation
While waiting for misery I am planing to do a replay of stalker soc are there and mods that are similar to miser for soc? Particularly I'm looking for a mod that increase the difficulty and improves ai ,better graphics and better weapons but doesn't add new story elements or quests
wow that is a nice setup im running an fx4100 4 gb of ddr3 and a radion 6700 seires card and misery does stutter mostly in Jupiter but rarely is it unbearable also props for playing though the whole game with out dying i think that misery is just the kind of game where you have to reload. I to have gotten frustrated at the stutter but kinda just have to live with it.
Firstly what is your current gaming rig? Also you have to remember that the devs can only optimize the game so much because they are limited to what they can do with the x-ray engine witch may I remind you is not the most stable or well optimized engine the in the world. I too have gotten the random stutter problem but it is mostly around areas where there is a lot of npc action like the main base of each level. Overall misery is an extremely stable mod for all the content that has been added. I would also remind you that the misery dev team has no obligation to optimize the game at all they do what they do for free and we should all be thankful. Think about it people pay 60+ dollars for crysis 3 we have a free mod to kill our systems:)
i have found that miser does have longer load times than the regular cop i think this is because of the graphical improvement I have found that if i lower the graphics settings the load and save times improve also dynamic lighting seems to be a system hog i set the lighting to static objects and this has really helped my performance keep in mind im running an eyefintiy setup on a radion 6700 series card.
I would say yes gloves are something that talker could use more of but the textures just seems wrong for gloves i would love to see some gloves that are similar to the ones in the UPD post.
