I am a semi-Professional Mapper, who is knowledgeable and experienced in testing and developing in single player and multiplayer based platforms. I work with the following current generation and next generation developer tools: Unreal Development Kit (UDK), Source Developer Kit's Hammer World editor (Source: SDK), Cryengine 2 and 3. I have a vast understanding of architecture which allows me to translate images into real time game worlds. I put my heart and soul into bringing the most realistic and immersive worlds to the players so they may understand the complexity of a story in a single player campaign, or to help players have a much stronger strategic approach to the planning involved in multiplayer gaming. I have a passion for games and a motive to help move the gaming industry as a whole into the next generation of technology and art fusion, which we know and love, gaming.

Blog RSS Feed Report abuse Latest Blog: CS:GO SDK Beta!

0 comments by TriPPey on Jun 6th, 2012

Recently, as most of you know, Valve has decided to allow access to the CS:Global Offensive Beta SDK to the current members of the existing CS:Global Offensive Beta. Luckily I was invited by Valve to take part in the beta of CS:GO, so I received the SDK as well.

As most of you do not know, I am a CS:S mapper, so I decided to poke around the new SDK and find all the secretes that it contained from within. I've noticed a few things, such as the shaders for the game being taken from Left 4 Dead, and the fact that the resources used in the game were just a mix of CS:S models and Left 4 Dead 2 props, on the other hand there were a few new props, but they were pretty much useless.

Portal 2 Door?

Once I looked around the SDK I started to work on a few maps, which lead to some trial and error, unfortunately I have not saved much of my early work to be displayed here so there is no point to do so, I mean really, do you want to see a nodraw block in space with some chair on it? Anyways I did have some good ideas that I have started to develop into a map.

For you of those who winged it and pulled a TL:DR, here are some images to satisfy your ADHD learning impaired mind.

Another update soon!
