EDIT: Oh, nvm, I needed Brood War installed as well.
Something's wrong, after I type "YES" and the location of my WC3 install directory, it finds the StarCraft CD, but it says "Step 0 error Could not find Starcraft MPQS". At that point, any other buttons will close it down. Any suggestions?
Has anyone even seeded this thing-oh, I just got one, ok. When I first started the torrent, I had no seeds listed.

MechWarrior alert! Clan Mech "Mad Cat." Seriously, any BattleTech fan would recognize a signature mech. These people lack originality. Nonetheless, I'd still like to play the mod (although I would've preferred them to use the Inner Sphere Mech "Fafnir").
While I admire the BattleTech universe, it makes this mod seem unoriginal by including the Clan Mech "Mad Cat." However, if they're going to keep doing that, they might as well use the Inner Sphere Mech "Fafnir" instead of the "Mad Cat," because the "Fafnir" would be on par with the Cyclops.
That's because it IS the Mad Cat. I would like to see the Fafnir, though.
Why not make a mod that allows for certain vehicles to have swivelling portions so that if you wanted to make, say, an M1 Abrams, then it'd be possible to do so and still emulate the way the tank takes down it's opponents? If you think about it, it kinda makes sense. Vehicles could shoot at each other while they move, they wouldn't have to stop like the sea vehicles.
This looks SO much better than the first game. I'll bet the combat system has changed so that most ranged units can fire while moving (like, maybe, the hydralisk has to stop before it can spit, but the marine can shoot while it moves).
Well, the buidings look the same, albeit blocky and faded. Is the Zerg race going to be the barbarians, or what?

Here's an idea. There's this one super-soldier who can fly faster than any ship, but there's only one for each team. He has a large array of weapons, mainly because he is a weapon, so he can make all kinds of things with just his suit of armor, such as a buster sword, a howitzer cannon, dual gatling guns, etc., but if he felt like using a different weapon, he could go with brute strength and tear crap apart, since his speed would also grant him strength (think Iron Man). Maybe you could also input a create-a-super-weapon function so you can make your own weapons for your super soldier. What I'm thinking is that the player with the highest stats of the team is the super soldier.
That's not an SMG, that's an Assault Rifle. You want an SMG, go for the UMP or the Uzi, or the MP5.
That don't look like 3d, but that's a good idea. Maybe it should also be an RPG or something, where you can get more skilled with certain weapons, like in Art of Ascension.

I'm guessing they just gotta put on a sort of fade, like in the multiplayer games, where when you respawn, your corpse fades from the map. Either that or whatever dies blows up and the gibs fade eventually.
Dude, they did that with Iron Grip: The Oppression, and I'll bet that the programmers used the same basic interface. I doubt you can switch from first person pov and overhead pov.
Iron Grip: The Oppression is better because it uses the source engine. I dunno whether or not this game has more guns or units or whatever other kinds of crap, but Oppression is way better.
Speaking of which, I'm making a space ship in garry's mod, I can probably make a screenshot of it and make it the image of a corvette or something (it has enough space to load a lot of fighters, not to mention I can steer it around without hoverballs to keep it up).
In fact, maybe I could help with a few of the models. Or textures. It'll be my chance to gain a few skills in the field of game design. After all, I wanna design games for a living.
This sounds good, I hope they decide to keep going, for everyone else. I'd like to bust up a few juggernaut space ships with my puny fighter (which I've done in a few other space-based flight simulators, such as Star Wars Tie Fighter and Star Wars Rogue Squadron, the series).
Mine keeps crashing every single time I try to play BSL in skirmish.

Dude, YOU BOTH can't spell. Though I do agree with you that it won't get past 10%. If he can't even frickin spell without his butler to do so for him, there's absolutely no way he can even program the frickin mod. I'd be surprised if he even knew the codes. I don't, but that's cos I don't know how to mod. If I did, I would be making a mod for Battlefront 2 for the Star Wars saga.
