Blog RSS Feed Report abuse Latest Blog: Model to be textured

1 comment by Turkish007 on Jul 5th, 2014

Hello everyone,

I have one model which is waiting to be textured. This is a vehicle and it is the legendary Mercedes Unimog made by Shilka234. He gave me to use it freely, so thanks a lot to him.
Here, I have the render image of it:

The next thing I want to show you is some reference photos, for the potential future texturer to use. I would like to have the texture which is used by the Turkish army, for future plans *wink wink*. So here are they:

This is the regular olive drab:

And here is the unimog with South-Eastern Turkey camo (in the front):

So if anyone is interested in texturing this beauty and you think you are qualified enough to do this with success, please PM me through ModDb, so I can give you the download link. I would be grateful and of course you will be credited when I start my future plans :)

In truth, someday I'd like to become Prime Minister of Australia. In my election I wouldn't promise anything I could not guarantee, I would only say what my priorities would be and promise to do only things that would benefit the people. I wouldn't walk around in a suit, I think, I'd just dress in the casual clothing of an everyday citizen; I would be no different from anyone from my country aside from me being the Prime Minister. I'd openly state everything in a proposal; what it would cost; what it would stop; what it would allow for, and I'd listen to the opposition rather than just go 'lalalalala' with my fingers in my ears. Right now, democracy has just become a popularity contest more than anything else. Politicians promise everything and revoke many. Me, I'd be a realist. I cannot do everything, I'd only do what I could, and I'd only do what would help people. I'd tax the billionaires, I'd tax the corporations, and if I were America, I'd stop dumping 65% of discretionary spending into the war machine. Kevin Rudd was booted because he was about to introduce the Mining Tax; one that would reduce the income to mining corporations so the government could do more for the people. He was booted by his party for doing a good thing. And now our current government is paying the price.

This is where you and I differ.. I would lower taxes on corporations , and cut Welfare. No more System Moochers. Welfare would be available for people who needed it but they would have to check in monthly with the office ad have proof they are trying to get off of it. I would if I was Queen, President, Prime Minister etc. of any country pull my self out of the UN. What a worthless Farce. I would keep my Military budget somewhat High but not overkill it, and would not be afraid to use it, because a strong military is the best Deterence to war in the first place. As far as Terrorist go They attack my country and we find evidence of them doing so, I go all in no questions asked and wipe them out by any means nescecery, not like what the US and Europe do pussy footing around when they hide with civilians and inside Mosques because they know they won't get bombed. Also I would not tax the Rich, I would do a flat tax where everyone pays the same percentage, or disband the income tax and property tax etc and Make a VAT tax only. So it only collects on consumption and spending and does not punish people who save. Because lets face it when was the last time a poor person created a job?

Just my Two Cents.

Sakura :D

P.S. Great post though Mr. Prime Minister :)

Then I would change in the way the people want me to. I'd actually ask what they want done, and I'd try to do it. I would try to be as benevolent as possible. I think, and I hope, that is how someone would effectively win supporters.

I'm sure many have tried that approach but the reality is most will break under the pressure of the "old guard" or Political Lobbyists. Most find the "Gifts" to be to tempting.

Trust me, when I am fixated on getting something done, I will not be tempted to bend for anything. Except family and friends. If they threaten them, I can easily be persuaded, and I hope it won't come to that in some random case.

Because there is nowhere else I have friends who listen.
And now that I think about it, if I were to (somehow) come into office right now, Labor would have me out of the seat within a week. I'd have to rely on THIS generation's support; Gen Z and Gen Y. The people in parliament are perhaps a bit old-fashioned, and I guess they don't like the things I'd want for Australia. I guess that may come from the great big 'commie scare' of the Cold War - allow the class gap to shorten and you'll have a communist place on your hands. Still, to be more lax than the PMs of today would be a big gamble with the seemingly unadaptable political system of today.

A leader which is more integrated in the people would be the best.

Why leaders don't meld with the people, I have no idea. No, they just HAVE to walk around with big expensive suits and talk like the most educated of educated people. I'd openly admit my mistakes and faults. Two top priorities would be to make Australia a greener place with energy consumption, and to fully, FULLY reconcile with the aboriginals here. I've already said how strongly I feel about them, and I think more apologies are needed, but nothing will ever be enough for them to fully forgive. I think a national 'Sorry' Day would be in place if there isn't already. If there is, more empathy should be put into it.

Balkans dont matter if the case is about Turkey. Only Turkish people will decide their destiny. Not Croats, not Bosniaks, not Serbs. It is all the will of Turkish people. If they want Erdogan gone, Erdogan will go. We are not destroying a great country, we are SAVING our country from it becoming an American-controlled sharia.

Again, you dont know ANYTHING about Erdogan. All those economic stuff he fixed is just a curtain, he is the evil one.

You'll see, good days are coming. Good days WITHOUT Erdogan.

And also, the Libyan rebels were te ones supported by USA, here, Erdogan and AKP is supported by USA. And you compare us to Arabs? Hahaha! Throughout history, we have done what the Arabs couldnt do. Where have you seen Arabs can do a proper revolution? Turkey will succeed, unlike them.

Lets see his supporters, they'll get beaten. They are afrsid to go out. They are patethic and uneducated, powerless. Why do you think the votes which go to AKP reduce as the education level rises?

If you want a proper leader, go and admire Mustafa Kemal, not a stupid pawn as Erdogan.
