Hello!:), I am Turkish007, (also known as TurkishCommando007) I am living in Istanbul, but my hometown is Rize, which is the land of tea, corn-bread, anchovy, cabbage, and crooked noses :D I dont have a lot of time to play games, but when I do I play Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, Verdun Online,Unturned, GTA-SA and a couple of other games. I am one of the leaders of Forgotten Hope Turkish Community. I am especially interested in 20th century history and I am good in Ottoman and Turkish history. I am a patriot in my own ways. Hello everyone,

I have one model which is waiting to be textured. This is a vehicle and it is the legendary Mercedes Unimog made by Shilka234. He gave me to use it freely, so thanks a lot to him.
Here, I have the render image of it:

The next thing I want to show you is some reference photos, for the potential future texturer to use. I would like to have the texture which is used by the Turkish army, for future plans *wink wink*. So here are they:

This is the regular olive drab:

And here is the unimog with South-Eastern Turkey camo (in the front):

So if anyone is interested in texturing this beauty and you think you are qualified enough to do this with success, please PM me through ModDb, so I can give you the download link. I would be grateful and of course you will be credited when I start my future plans :)

Cheers!

I think I shall remember 2013 as The Year of Injustice.
I hear barely anything from Brazil or Istanbul, and Syria has screwed itself up. 20 million people was the original populace, and now 10 million are displaced. Superpowers are vying to get in on the action, and Syria's own government has used chemical weapons on its own people. The government of Turkey has failed to uphold the guidelines of Ataturk and refuse to listen to its people. Brazil is experiencing a similar situation, but on a larger scale, with 50 odd thousand, so I hear, rioting in the streets.
I'm sure that these will not be the only revolts in this year, thus it is a year of injustice.

Dark times... But Im sure older people have seen worse years. My father was a student in the 70's and in the military in the 80's, during te times of the second military coup. I ask him about his university days, but he refuses to tell me about it.

Indeed, and there are places even worse than Turkey; Afghanistan for instance, where the majority of the country is run by the Taliban and the populace is forced to comply. The military operations in the area will only delay them.
And as for your father... some things in this world are better left unsaid.

As far as I know there have been riots in a lot of places this year, I understand Sweden was one of them

Azerbaijanis are Turks too, just like Uighurs, Kyrgyzs, Kazahks, Chechens, etc...

There are around 90 Turkic nations İf I can remember correctly.

How did they come to be divided into separate nations?

You know, Turks in Central Asia were nomads. Some moved towards Europe, escaping the Chinese opression and plagues, and became the first Hungarians and Finns. Some moved towards India and Iran, and became Ghaznavid Turks. Some went to Arabia, becoming the Amawi empire. Some went to the Caucasians, and became the Azeris and Chechens. Some stayed in Central Asia, as the KökTürk and Great Seljouk Empires. The first Turks came to Anatolia in 1071, and established the Anatolian Seljouk Empire.

After some battles and ****, the Great Seljouk Empire collapsed, and most of these Turks were seperated into a feodalist (is that how to say it?) rule. Also, the USSR rule over the Turks also caused seperations, there are more, but if I start telling you it will last forever :P

I believe in Turan, which is basicly pan-Turkism. One day I hope I see a Turkic union ranging from the Danube river in Hungary, to the borders of China. From all the way from Sebastopol, all the way down to Cyprus.
