They're not. Morrowind Rebirth ain't meant to be a graphic-replacer.

No no, it's a complete rewrite buy a few dedicated morrowind fans. It will probably have support for dual core engines, new graphic effects and such. They've made a great deal of progress already and it should be ready for a public beta release this year.

At the end of 2012.. I plan to make 1.9 and 2.0 pretty massive.

I do not intend to continue with Oblivion or Skyrim, I hate em' both. Once Open MW is out (new engine for Morrowind) I do plan to expand Rebirth even further beyond the 2.0 version.

I won't make any quests until I'm done with all exterior/interior work, which might be a year or so from now. Although you're free to make your own ones for personal use :)

You mean the ground textures? If so, no not really. Morrowinds landscaping tool is really bad. If you have 3 diffrent textures close to eachother you'll get seams, which makes it look even worse. I think this solution is better than the seams.

It is if you're using Wyre Mash. Then you can "repair" yoru savegames for each new version. Search for Wyre Mash on google. Should be a readme there too. Btw.. I'll release 1.8 in a few days.

1. You'll have to wait a little longer for 1.8, sorry!
2. Yeah if you're using Wyre Mash and repair your saves.
3. Get the graphic replacers first, then Rebirth on top of that. Just to be safe.

K then I get you. I haven't counted them so I had no idea. No that doesn't come with the mod. Morrowind Rebirth isn't a graphics replacer.

Well ya its from Vurt's Ashlands Replacer. It's not included in Rebirth, this is just a preview for a new cave-system under Balmora.

About 2 weeks. No idea what you meant about your second question though. 42 downloads? That's only a counter for the current version and how many downloaded the mod today. 1.7 includes everything from 1.0 - 1.7.
