yea, now, T90 auto fires sabot and also has 8 reflecks missile, now abrams cant advance as easily as before between RU armor lines, for altitude with helis only send your heli far away and it auto raise altitude if you give orders of short movements it will keep low altitude, so if you want to rape with rockes a tank you need to move far and when you rais altitude send it again far away in the other direction it wont go too far but keep getting higher, then use rockets when you re over the tank, if you want to go at low altitude to not be discovered by radar give short movement orders.

atm i have tested it several times and the bridge is a continuous battle, only you need to destroy it to stop the enemy armor but you must pay atention because AI usually repair the bridge but even your team AI mates do, so when you less expect an atack you have in fron of you a incoming tank column lol, the terrain configuration makes you enjoy the whole 40 min of the battle i havent tested with 80 minutes but with 40 you practically haven't enough time to go around the whole map, from one spawn to other a humvee spend about 8 minutes lol but you need to skyp the enemy and the cps to do that something almost impossible, you need to use a trainer and start to launch nukes to waste all the terrain, and you didnt see the town area only i have shown in pics the restaurants on the jetty

thats happen because you used the default sky that appear always in wiced and seems that you have missed some files.... i suggest you changing the enviroment in the weather editor... in a earlier pic i explained you 2 ways to do that

well if you go to your map folder you can find in metadata folder some files called overidemask- "thenameofthemask" , you can choose your concretemask, make a copy and use it to edit, with photoshop brushes you can make better effects and only needs to work with black an white colours of the mask if you add crey it willl have a transparency, the white areas are your concrete painted areas and the black ones are blank areas so you can play with it and a whole scale of grey tones for making transparencies , when you get familiarized you will notice that you can do almost everything with the terrain.....
for example if you want to make dirt arround the roads you only have to press "E" from your kb and select only roads then set up a path for create the file and click create, go to the folder you selected and you will have a mask in black and white of your placed roads on wiced... then you only have to go to photoshop and edit it expanding the white areas making them bigger than your roads width , save it, go to wiced, create a new layer called "yourfavouritename" and go to the mask tab, click on import and select your edited mask on photoshop, save and render whole map, dont forget to add a texture and also a detail texture for that mask before rendering lol.
when finished you will see a nice dirt terrain around the roads..... who says dirt, says asphalt, concrete or anyithing you can imagine!
you can also with the "E" button tool to create mask for trees or buildings also for water... there are many possibilities, you can paint a asphalt area in a mask using photoshop, but in photoshop you can also use mask in the masks you are editing so if you want to edit a mask to create a concrete area but you can also use another created mask with the buildings emplacements to use it as a guide to know where you can paint the concrete in the mask without painting the area for the buildings because may be you want to paint another kind of concrete for buildings

probably you have missed some wiced files from enviroment editor so when you finish the map i suggest you to remove wiced and install it again!

k, let's go to the wheather editor in wiced... you will see a tab called "atmosphere" if you click the ". . ." button you have acces to wiced browser go to editor data folder / enviroment... you can choose any of the .mrb files you will found in any of the enviroment folders, that will add a new sky whithout changin your current weather settings.... also you can look for more weather . mrb files browsing the maps folder you will find files from almost every map you have in wic, some of them have custom skies that you can use, such as berlin sky which is not able in wiced default kinds of enviroments... once you have done save the map and compile it again, if nothing happens try to change it direcly selecting another enviroment template at the wheather editor

with a good normal map you can improve very much the map quality,, also you can experiment with the specularity bar in the concrete or asphalt mask to make it shine with the sun doing the same FX than roads do

why the sky is so blue? little bit weird... but nice map... if you dont like the shadows on the concrete for the foot paths you must to use a flat normal map in that mask, as you haven't selected a normal map for the concrete mask, it takes it automatically from the earlier mask,in this pic the grass normal map makes it in the concrete mask

a trick for the run way? use wic roads,, right click on the road, appear a menu, go to advanced options, and fix the wide with the painted one you have in the map, then go back to the basic road menu, you must have selected 1 road way point then there's a "transparency bar" move it to make the road the half visible than before, now if you dont like the road texture you can change it in the advanced menu,there are many textures for roads in wiced map folder, render it and you will have a more realistic run way for your air base

yeah, in my opinion you shouldn't forget this map, i think is an interesting map but you have to try to make the sand terrain with some little dunes not so flat and try to use the roads in Lower mode only, select the wide and use it behind the sandbags and tank traps to make a little lower terrain to move infantry by there with some terrain cover... you need to develop it more but is a nice and interesting idea.. congrats!

hey! there's no post for internal discussion! check bradley and bmp-2, atm 1 bradley can destroy 3 bmp, bmp only can give damage to bradley from rear side, russian bots are still spamming amph transport instead ifv like U.S.?. would be wonderful if you can order to UAV where to fire hellfires, i think air dropped inf as special forces must be more lethal against infantry but they only must be used for recon purposes changing arty barrage for aerial recon as special ability, i think with the power of forward observer with ac-130 is enough and when you use airdropped inf you need to kill inf hidden in forest stealthily and 95% of times you use them only as forward observer, if we use arty special ability to destroy that enemy infantry we destroy our cover, 1 because we burn some forest and 2 because when you see 2 arty shells you automatically know that must be airdropped inf out there. and the tank buster TA for RU sucks compared with A-10, humvee must be better armored against infantry same with RU transport. that's all atm LoL :D

ok, i understand you now! i didn't know about that info on tom clancy's book, then, must i assume that for example, with leopard happen same? i mean, leopard also use 3G DU in its armor may be we really don't know the whole protection with this material, i think, m1a2 sep has classified info about it and we haven't an "european tom clancy" to know about that. LOL
leopard 2E is in service for spanish army and has greater armor than current 2a6 but i only found "greater armor" not an specified info about how much greater is.

well this information now has better accuracy than before making comparison with the info i found but i still don't know where you found that info about protection levels of armor, and i don't understand that if 3G DU armor is included with the main armor, why do you do normal armor plus 3G DU it must be a whole value, i understand if you use TUSK you must use normal armor protection plus TUSK protection, any way, i found this page( the only one i found that you can read about current protection levels uptdated in 2011)

they are the current armor specifications for abrams m1a2sep and ammunition the T-90 isn't as good as abrams but the disadvantages of one compensates advantages from other and viceversa, for example abrams can resist pretty well a hit from T-90 and is hard to T-90 to resist a hit from abrams both at 2000m but any way it does, however the fire rating of T-90 is higher than abrams so as i said one thing compensates another
