I don't see how an engine receiving constant updates and fixes is a bad thing??
Amazing environments, amazing dino models and the animations were great cannot wait to play this!
Thank you for posting our news update on sourcedimensions.com!
There is nothing wrong with reading.Get used to it.
Awesome! I've been anticipating this like crazy
sweet shot, those officers are in for a rough battle
I was really looking forward to episode 2, but I still appreciate that you released what was done so far.
Co-op doesn't fit in every game
I love these small experimental projects
Can't wait to see what youdo with the rest of the RPD and park!
Unfortunately we don't have any release date yet. Alyx is a place holder for our main new character Sarah who is being worked on at the moment.
And your English is just fine :)
I think that would be really awesome but most devs don't like to do that
I'm having a hard time finding the words to properly describe my experience with this so I will try to sum it up the best I can: Scary as hell. I'm a huge advocate of custom enemies, npc's weapons etc so I was very pleased to find a great variety of monsters as well as some well written and performed dialogue.
The style also took a huge change of pace when the SWAT team showed up and you began clearing the hospital with them. I thought that was a really cool and unexpected element because usually in these types of horror games you never encounter anyone who isn't insane or dying etc.
One of my favorite sequences was the part where the swat guy loses it and you have to take him out; that is the type of situation you almost never see in Source mods.
I enjoyed the alternate ending available, it's another feature almost never seen in the modding community and I was delighted to find that I was actually given a choice.
I also want to mention that the mapping style in some sections was especially good, crawling through cramped, rusty passage ways crowded with pipes and etc really put me in the mindset of the original Silent Hill.
This is easily my #1 mod of the year. Each chapter was better than the last and mad props to all of the people who contributed to this project.
I don't feel like my words are doing the mod justice, just give it a spin, you won't be disappointed!
Best comment lol
I have high hopes for this
very nice animations
I need some of those gravity socks
This looks excellent as the creators have already proved themselves.
My only question is if there will be co-op gameplay?
Goddamn, I can't ******* wait to get my hands on this game
I am actually in an incredibly similar state of mind, so I wish you the best of luck! I look forward to seeing what you can do with ASoM when you return.
I'm in love with this unique style you have going here
Those little doll baby-things just creep me the **** out..
Congratulations! By the way, do you guys plan on releasing anymore videocasts before the release?
This should be pretty interesting
And the Bub pics made me lol
I'm not surprised in the least that some cretins trying to be funny created this to cause a fuss but why was this approved? It's like the MoDDB staff are saying "We know your only objective is to offend people and this mod has no place in this community but to prove that we aren't biased when it comes to which mods get approved and which don't, we will allow it."
Myself and others here can recognize the distinction between killing human NPC's or zombies in a fantasy setting and trying to simulate slaughtering children for the shock value and it's a joke to insinuate that there is no difference between killing fictional characters in a fictional universe and slaughtering children with in a school room setting with no feasible objective.
It isn't being done for the sake of artistic expression or expanding the boundaries in video gaming, but merely for the sake of creating something anybody with any semblance of a conscious would be genuinely offended by.
woot im the assault guy in the beginning :p
