Jeeez. Its looking so outdated.
And as I stated before there is too many WW2 MP shooters now. Active playerbase will hardly reach 5-10k. MP shooters are not the same as they were before. You really need to deliver unique experience that will make players return to your game.
Btw were you able to patricipate in alpha testing?
Yes, I've been participating to the alpha tests. The reason why the game looks outdated is that, just as WolfRTCW highlighted, it's the aim. It's an old-school shooter meant to bring back COD2-like gameplay mechanics and feelings to the current generation, with new graphics. From what I've tested, I can tell you that it's working pretty well in that direction.
I won't disagree with you on the fact that there are too many WW2 MP shooters right now tho, and I honestly don't know if Battalion 1944, despite being a great game imo, will achieve in preserving its community on the long term. Wait & see...
The game is supposed to look that way, Wolf bro, that's what they were aiming for, the "old-school" look and feel of "Call of Duty 2". We've been playing the "alpha" tests and it's just like playing "COD2" or "Wolfenstein: ETPro".
This game is supposed to be old-school, WolfETPlayer. And more WW2 games is not a bad thing; it's like the early 2000's again, and I'm not complaining!
