Thanks! We've actually been looking into that just recently, now that development is done. Look forward to (hopefully, fingers crossed!) seeing either Residue, They Breathe or both on some new places!

Glad you like it!
About the other frogs: It's really up to you. The other frogs interact with the other creatures, which could be good or bad for you, so there's a tactical choice for you from fight to fight. As for whether you feel morally compelled to do one or the other, we can't say.
The weird moose do die when they run out of oxygen. Like the frogs and you (though you get a second wind, of sorts).
The game is short enough that we figured most people will go through with it in one playthrough, and if they don't it shouldn't take them more than a couple of minutes to reach were they where. We apologize for anyone feeling too negatively about this, though. We hate wasting people's time.

Sorry to massacre you, Sunblinder! =) Am I right in assuming that you've only played the demo? The whole demo thing is a new idea we're trying for Desura, and I'm not convinced it works at all. Confusion is deep in this game's DNA and I believe it's an important part of what makes it compelling (figuring the rules out on your own), but the trouble with the demo is that it gets much more punishing much faster than the actual game, because we want to show something more than just the basic moose fight. We should probably re-balance it a bit so that you don't die as easily in the demo.

DoraAreGames: Hugo Bille, designer of They Breathe here. I can only agree 100% with your sentiments. They Breathe has been held back enough by the ridiculous lack of a save functionality. Unlike when we started out, I know a thing or two about programming now, so today I spent my last day of unemployment fixing this. Soon, we'll upload a new build of They Breathe which remedies the lack of saving!

I've also fixed another problem, which I presume has affected you. In making a game that doesn't hold your hand, we probably went too far when we opted out of control tutorials. And playing They Breathe without knowing that you can boost using the space bar, is nothing short of a pain. Once the next version hits, that's not going to happen to anybody. One single tutorial message has never killed a game. I think.

Thanks a lot for your lucid feedback, and I hope you can give the game a second chance now. =)
/Hugo
