depends on their willingness to work together, teams of different people, working at a different pace on different things. I suppose it would come down to management & if their artistic views are inline with each other.

So correct that statement, it makes you seem ignorant. The question and answer you should be giving, is whether you will choose to use machine for pigs assets or not... most people are, just to add variety.
how do you go about getting your level design unique and interesting? HL's black mesa has alot of unrealistic areas that don't flow well and alot of other areas are abnormally large, Black Mesa Source has a much more realistic Black Mesa.. or do you see level design as something that you can borrow from the real world & other games and mold it into your project.
spears are definitely the more interesting of all the weapons but.. probably one of the most difficult to balance. A melee weapon with the greatest range, and greatest thrown weapon in terms of overall speed/damage. Honestly as much I like the idea of using a spear, a three bladed claw would be my favourite eventhough I know that it's unlikely for exotic weapons to make it into the game.. ah well I do really enjoy knife combat and occasionally swapping to something else.

It's abondonware so its a free game.
and a recreation of it that is more true to the boardgame (still 2d & freeware).
And the enhanced version officially released under a different title, Alien Assault, with one sequel and another currently in pre-production.
If it's to your liking, you can buy this 3d version which I think actually has some enhancements beyond graphics.
This is exactly what Hexen has need for a longgg time. I never really got why there was never a big revamp project for this game, like how the other build & doom games did. I get why strife was forgotten about, as it lacked the uniqueness of the other games. I get why Blood never took off because it never got a source code release.. but Hexen? I've had my theories, maybe the whole confusing aspect of it's puzzles.. which are not so much puzzles as they are exploring pressing a switch and going into a completely different area, either backtracking or even going across maps. It's a journey rather than a puzzle.
I suppose it's campaign may have turned off some people. But that shouldn't stop modders. Most of the mods I've seen take a more linear route, so that there is a fast paced flow. The game did lack assets but there's a couple of modder created assets for the game last time I checked. The lack of weapons for the 3 classes should have only encouraged modders to take a shot at revamping it...
ah this game holds a special place for me, Blood is my true favorite though with duke3d taking 2nd place. Hexen to me has has alot of potential to being truly ground breaking.
you do get 10x more ammo. This isn't for babies so no, there will never be 50% of normal damage. It's supposed to be really hard. 10x mods have always been like this.
yeah the take 2 sequel has been in development for ages now. It seems like some mapping projects (when the doom community at large is concerned) never die.

The last 'asAnimation' can be used to call the animation name of the "point at things" - look at the model with the modeleditor to see the "names" of the animations.
To make creepy girl damage you when you get close, input an attack animation in the Modeleditor.exe, use the idle animation for her attack..

Nice, been a big fan of Fallout Tactics, and this reminds me of that except in a dystopia rather than post-nuclear. AI overhaul seemed like a long time coming.
