- Blend in for reduced NPC awareness
Apparently Realism mode/hardcore survival don't work ATM (and they'll be made obsolete in the near future with stuff like difficulty levels and other options come into play).
I haven't found out when they are going to implement proper difficulty levels, like instead of having the superfluous realism mode that nobody uses implement a kind of system that asks what each option you want... like one shot headshots/disable hud/Make all zombies Runners/disable Runners/respawning zombies/disable nation guard/zombiecount scaling depending on playercount ect
Not to mention there was no tags on servers or any information as to what settings servers are using so it was impossible to tell whether realism mode was activated or not unless played for a bit to see whether the low caliber pistol killed with a headshot.
Once they implement proper difficulty settings, they will probably give us server side information before joining.
Lacking difficulty options, along with shoddy hit detection is why I stopped playing the mod.
You don’t need a Steam Key. I searched it up on Twitter and found out that you can activate it through your License Key…
Just remove your dashes and go to steam "Activate a Product on Steam". If theres a problem just email the devs.

well when it comes to servers, you just have to be patient. People will change over.
when I say lost souls I mean the ones that spawn from the pain elemental, not the regular kind.
I see why you made taunts optional, the whole annoyance in multiplayer.. but why make the combat rolls a mutator? when everybody is going to be using it anyway...
And why integrate Janitor? I've played Brutal Doom for ages now and have never gone below 60 FPS. Isn't the whole point of Brutal Doom to be... messy? I like leaving a mess.

But aside from that, I think that you've given us alot over the years. Pretty much brought Doom 1 and 2 into the modern age, made it relevant again. Made it more fun than most games out there. There are full priced titles out there that aren't half as fun as your mod.. whatever you decide to do in the future is cool with us. hmm maybe Doom Vacation mod? DoomGuy Goes to Maimi.
I think its a bug, because its not listed in the changelog. Same goes for the lost souls infighting with each other.

Congrats on more significant progress. Ah, its been awhile since I've seen a good sci-fi alien FPS. I like the catering towards more types of players. Honestly more progress on the campaign would be wet my appetite more :P

It would be a very nice way to celebrate the steam release, and buy the game on christmas sale. But I suppose we will have to be content with West Point until work resumes on the NPC's, getting the issues ironed out with saves/performance boost is essential.

in order for it to run on Zandronum, a number of features would need to be completely removed (the skill definitions) and the scripts would need to be converted from named to numbered, as Zandronum does not seem to support either one of them.
My advice; bug the Zan's developers to update to a newer ZDoom revision.
Apparently the Minigun and Rocket Launcher sprites from previous v19 test releases will not be in v19 from what I understand. Not sure what Sergeant Mark IV has planned.

Very nice, its shaping up to be the best looking JKA mod I've seen.
If you guys are getting a steam release I think you should increase the price, I mean the game is obviously reaching the point where its got lots of content, with NPC's I would gladly pay $20. But you have to absolutely sure that the build is stable before the price change.
