I have limited admin powers for moddb, if anyone needs help I can delete/archive/authorise mods and groups among other things.... I am the admin of the Anti-Crate Committee Please join us in fighting the Crate Epidemic! This disease started at the Mann Conomy update... the symptoms may include overloading backpacks, excessive popups, overuse of the delete button, overuse of trading, loosing keys, square syndrome... Something must be done! Join our group (www)steamcommunity.com/groups/Anti-Crate_Committee We may be able to develop a vaccine.
looks to fat IMO, I never liked the headcrab from hl2... and I also don't like the zombie sounds from hl2 (who know the one where they sound like a lion) I don't mind the distorted sound of a human yelling, that sounds creepy and fits any mod :D
yeah just make sure to disable Bunnyhop by default. I understand giving a option to turn it on... just not a on by default please... we don't want another Fortress Forever, that mod made the same fatal mistake of making bunnyhop on by default. The bunnyhop glitch is the reason why Team Fortress Classic died out after people discovered it (it wasn't until the 1.1.0.8 patch on September 2001, before valve finally fixed the exploit).

make sure to get the half-life 1.1.1.2 patch for those with non-steam version... it Adds Steamless Team Fortress 1.6 (v1.0_final).
Well its great news... exciting but nothing entertaining like previous updates or something to talk about :(
Yeah the only Indie game I've ever bought the second I saw it is Amnesia: the dark descent not to long ago. But now E.Y.E is the second... I don't regret it, the games awesome. Doesn't look like a Source game at all which is a big complement, and plays like a different game. RPG elements add to the game and the setting and story are engaging.
STALKER had no voice in conversations except once in the beginning, and that game was awesome. Same goes for Morrowind. Its no indicator for a bad game.
excellent point. I think you've done a great job on making it realistic yet muliplayer friendly.
Wow this looks incredible. I am one of those people that never got into this game, it just lacked realism, it felt arcady to me which turned me off. But you're mod reminds me of a more gun oriented/multiplayer version of Dead Rising 2.
You really should mention that enabling HDR and Bloom is crucial for the to mod work. That and giving a comprehensive list of all the changes you've made in Version 1 of your release which you strangely enough haven't making me a little confused as to what this mod changes graphically. It's not for much just what is necessary to do :)
Yeah a tad to bulky, especially around the ankles and thighs. That has to be modified to fit the slim size of the eldar.
Wow this is very ambitious mod, I will be very interested to see how this turns out.
it also reminds me of Cleaners Adventures also a half-life mod. Man these cleaners know how to shoot :D
I think you should hold off on the purchase until the game gets cheaper, don't let them get your hard earned money.. or until they decide to give it modding support. MODDB is in a uproar and I think we shouldn't let this injustice stand.
yes its quite a money making scheme like DLC, HD remakes, preorders... I think the difference is that DLC and HD remakes are universally detested (or at least most of them are, there are some exceptions) so marketplace and preorders I think are the only legitimate cash milking scheme that I don't have a problem with.
its quite ironic. Theres this old saying "The Greedy lose twice as much". Its because people pick on it, it's an age of information when people are well informed. This isn't the old days where you could get away with having a ignorant audience who buy everything. If we see something we don't like that is an immediate decision to not buy something, all it takes is one major fault.
And most people don't like greedy men. I know I don't.
Same goes with this DRM which has been proven time and time again that it doesn't prevent piracy, it only prevents the people who actually buy game from playing it (the new DRM was cracked 2 weeks after its first release by the DarkCoder). Then theres these HD remakes with are shameless milking of cash, as well as DLC which are 1/3 of the price of a expansion but have 1/10 of the content. Its a sad time for the gaming industry (the movie industry doesn't even have it as bad, they are only suffering from remakes nothing else)
To true. I don't see a reason to play this. Hell I've been disappointed by a game I've been waiting ages for (DNF). I don't see any reason to buy Diablo 3 if they take this MMO and no modding route... and I will also be delaying my purchase of DNF till it has modding support. Man has Blizzard seriously dropped the ball on this. I heard some backlash on SC2 as well.
I think your statement is perhaps the most ignorant statement I've ever heard. Pirating is a minority, only about 2% of PC players pirate a game and it doesn't rule the possibility of them not buying it in the future, or their 'word of mouth' encouraging their friends to get the game. Diablo 3 move to a MMO with a system to pay for in game items.. with no modding allowed and expressly forbidden is merely Blizzard finally going the money milking route. Its their personal decision nothing more nothing less. They screwed up Star Craft 2 and now Diablo 3 is taking route. I knew something was wrong as soon as Diablo 3 started to look similar to World of Warcraft.
If you can show me a scientific study you can tell if its credible or not. if you know what to look for. How was the sample for the study selected? What hypothesis was tested? By what criterion? What is the confidence level?
A real scientific study will have all of this information.
So far, all of the research I've seen saying that piracy causes overwhelming harm to developers and publishers are studies that simply put these 800k against the 300k and said, "Look, how can we be making profit when 1/3 of our product was stolen?" None of these even bother to check what the intersection is, (id est, people who downloaded, but later bought product.) or whether these people were able to afford the copies they acquired illegally. Again, I'm not using that as an excuse for the action. Just pointing out that sales that could not have been made cannot be counted against sales lost.
Its a bogus claim that piracy is hurting sales.
I won't be buying it. No modding means useless to me, I probably might try the demo or play a friends copy for a little while. Meh.. Diablo 2 has been awesome I and many other people still play it and mod it.
thats a real shame cause this one is like 10x better, new areas, new ai, visually better looking and all the spelling mistakes and bugs/glitches are gone :D
haah you play as Janitor.. thats awesome :) Reminds me of the mod Case Closed where you play as a Janitor also :D
means no one is working on it.
Dam this looked good.. a real shame.
Wow this looked amazing... why is it dead?
Next time you will upload the full version? where is the full version...
