Anybody know how to get special orders from Nimble? I've done nearly a dozen quests for him but I still can't order from him at all, the dialogue choice just isn't there. Not even a button for trading. Can anybody help?

I know this is a week later and all but I need help for this. I want to change what spawns in stashes as well but I can't find the file for it. Looking in the specific directory doesn't work, nor does searching for it. Anybody got advice?
Well, I can't really help you with that, can I?
Please god I want one for AO, Gnomus style scopes are the greatest gift ever bestowed upon earth
You don't need me to list out what is compatible and what isn't. Why do you think a mod that changes the pay for jobs, would make it incompatible with weapon packs? When somebody pays you with a weapon instead of an artifact, or money, its always a vanilla weapon.
There is a way to make it compatible yourself. If there's a damage.ltx file in the mod, open it. Go to my mod and open the file as well. Grab the values for my mod, and replace the values over the other mod. I did this with Outfit Addon and it worked fine, so it should work good for you, too.
Sorry for the late reply but unfortunately not. At least it's not as tedious as modifying each jobs pay, or modifying each weapon's damage values. Every change you make applies to every NPC luckily. Also you don't have to change the entire LTX file, just the first few sections on top. IIRC its the head and body section and thats it.
It should be. Best way to make sure any mod is compatible with newest version is to see if some of their files are changed, in the changelog. Plus, the name says the version its compatible with, so you should know right away.
That's the thing, loners, while some may be bad apples and shoot damn near everybody, you would probably be able to win over the majority of them by saving their friends, or doing other things for them. It would be pretty difficult to simulate individual relationships on the X-ray engine, as Dan said before.
Well, it might be possible but I can't exactly say I'm the best modder myself, all I do is just change a few numbers and upload it on moddb. I do imagine DoctorX probably could do something like this though. What I was thinking was that if you keep doing several jobs/quests for one stalker or a group of stalkers, they would become your friend. I do like your ideas though, it would certainly add more diverse options in the game.
Well, I know when I was modifying quests for DocX's questlines that you could change the goodwill gained from jobs. For some reason ALL JOBS, including hit jobs, delivery jobs, and even toolkit jobs only give 50 goodwill, which means you have to grind endlessly to be friendly with a person or a faction. If you want, I could change that but I'd need to get the vanilla files first, though.

You better ******* post the progress in the thread my friend.
Thats strange. I had the outfit addon when I made the StCoP damage increase mod. I'll have a look-see what I can do.
The addon is compatible with every new version, so therefore it's always compatible with every official weapon pack.
Now, if you could make one for Arsenal Overhaul 3 and OWR3 I know a lot of us would be very grateful. A friend of mine was making a version himself but was having difficulty because of the constant updates.
It does indeed work with 1.4.21 but beware if you're on azazel mode, when you die your game can crash when switching characters because of this mod.

It should be a few pages in but if you want a quick way to get into it look in the popular addons list. Questlines is usually always there.
You do make good points, mainly that there would be bad pay and overly inflated prices. However what I found absurd is how they pay so little for such daunting tasks. 99% of the time whenever I see 'Save my friend please he got mugged' I just never do it because I know the pay will be awful. They're literally hiring random stalkers to save their friend, if they didn't care that much they wouldn't hire people to save him. I would fully understand why you would decide not to download this addon though, for balance reasons.
Can anybody link me to the MP3 files so I can play music? I for the life of me cannot find the download.
This addon mostly goes best with Ironman mode, because of the issue that mostly every job you go to can get you killed, at any time. You just wiped out a group of bandits by yourself, and you took the hostage to your friend for only a measly one grand.
Although if you DON'T have ironman mode on, with this addon it just becomes easy-mode because of how much pay you get from certain jobs.
Well this mostly irons out the pathetically low pay you get from weapon-fetch jobs from loners. I just found it silly when they say they'll pay me a premium and then when I hand over the gun to them, they only hand over about two grand for it. Even when full condition. I think what could be an acceptable compromise in the future is that the lower condition your gun is, the less money you get from fetch-quests.
Thank you! I was tired of getting so little money for jobs that should normally give you a good amount of money. Off to spend the next two hours modifying the files now.
Okay since I'm a retard and didn't read the entire description, I have another question. What file do I change to change it to my preference?
