yep.. well it depends on where in germany ur from. Further up north you tend to have no problem with reading/hearin it and usually are able to get quite easily into speaking it aswell. My grandparents were from up north and I picked up a good few things from them. I can definitely read dutch.. and on occasion understand it when I'm spoken to. But I'm not too good at speaking it myself.
